“Enjoyed the stay”

I arrived late and was suprised to see that the front desk was still open. Normally with Candlewood, after 11:00PM you have to retreive your reservation and room keys through a lock box procedure. The hotel was completely booked so I had no choice to change rooms if I wanted to. Got into the room, this was a basic room... more

Won this property for $49 plus tax on Hotwire and was very satisfied. It is rated a 2 1/2 star property and I feel that is about right - its got nice decor and comfy beds. The kitchenette is nicely laid out with new appliances and the pantry they have is well-stocked and reasonably priced. This was my first experience... more

Got this deal for $39 from Hotwire. We upgraded from a single to a one bedroom suite for $20 + tax per night when we arrived. The room(s) are spacious, big kitchen (much larger than the Marriott Townebridge). The bed is a small queen though. Two TVs, through the wall a/c that kept the room cool in the 115 daytime... more

My husband and I live in a small town about 200 miles from Phoenix. We stay in Phoenix several times a year for different reasons and when we do, we always stay at the Candlewood on Baseline Road. Safety and cleanliness are very high on our must list and this Candlewood has both. I have never seen a hotel kept... more

We booked our 1st night stay during spring training at this hotel because we could use reward points. We confirmed this upon check in but we were asked for our credit card number upon check in for "incidentals," of which we had none. Upon check out we were told there was no balance. This hotel was as expected for a lower priced hotel. It is located on a busy road (so is the outdoor pool), but was surprisingly quiet inside. We didn't hear the road noise or the other hotel guests when in the room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, although the room was significantly smaller than other Candlewood... more

The day before we were to be checking in we received a voicemail message for us to call them. When we spoke with the employee we were informed that they were unable to accomodate us there and would be putting us up in an inferior hotel. This hotel isn't fancy at all but it is clean and the people are very friendly. They offer a lot of perks free. Soda and snacks are avalible downstairs at a cheap price. I would recommend this for an extended stay but also just for a weekend get away to Phx on the cheap. more
