After reading the reviews I had a higher expectation for this stay. My sister had surgery in Beverly Hills and we needed a clean, not so expensive place to stay one night. Stayed there for one night while attending a taping of Amercan Idol and then seeing Wicked the next night. The hotel was a little worn on the edged, but it was more than made up for by the location, price, amenities and the incredible staff. A lot of great places to eat in the area as well. This hotel was a great surprise. It is different than the others Motel 6. It is a building. Good location, close to Kodak Theather. All corridors are clean. The lobby is cozy. The room was clean. We were travelling in 8 persons using two rooms. No problem. Good parking. Good location. No complaints at all. more

First of all, you have to understand that this location cannot be beat. It's on Whitley, which is less than a half-block from Hollywood Boulevard. Contrary to many of the posted reviews, I found the Motel 6 a reasonably-priced option in Hollywood, and there are plenty of options! It has a great location, just 1/2 block up from HollyBlvd, and, yeah, some of the employees are young-ish, and the place is not new, but it is a pretty cool old building in a cool neighborhood.... more

First of all make sure that you are no earlier than 2pm (check in time) any earlier you will be parked out front feeding the parking meter, while watching prostitutes walk by!!
