Stayed at this hotel prior to a cruise. There was a shuttle offered for $5.00 per person. The rooms were in excellent condition, had plenty of towels, and the hotel was quiet. We had dinner and breakfast in the dining room and the food was alright. It was a bit on the expensive side to eat in the dining room,... more

This is a great hotel. It has the look of an old Victorian style hotel cum castle complete with suits of amour in the lobby. The rooms are very large, clean, well kept with a combination of antique and made to look like antique furniture. Very convenient for cruise passengers, the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the... more

My family stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night prior to a cruise. Our room was large and clean, we had room service and it arrived promptly and quickly. The neighbourhood is not great, but we weren't really there for a vacation, so no problem. The decor is old fashioned, but again, clean and comfortable. We were provided with... more

We stayed at the HI San Pedro with our girl's Softball team (Go Shockwaves!) and were very happy with our stay. The hotel was easy to find, had convenient parking, check in was fast and easy. I liked the antique decor, they have worked hard to make this older hotel look special. Our room was clean and good sized. The... more

I stayed here once and then again 3 days later over the Xmas holiday. The rooms are big and furnishings are a bit old fashioned, antique replica and sometimes reminded me of the old west. I think I stayed in 425 the first night and to be honest, I honestly think it's haunted. I heard chairs pulling out on hard... more

Having seen some diabolical reviews after I'd booked it, I was quite anxious when we finally arrived there. But it was fine. Yes the decor is a bit old fashioned, but we found the staff helpful and during the day you can walk to lots of stores for camera and pharmacy stuff. There are loads of fast food places nearby... more

Nice Hotel, Love the Old World Decor, the price for the room was well within expectations if not cheaper then we expected. George at the front desk was extremely helpful, we were on the 4th floor and the coke machine would not take dollar bills, i went to the front desk and George said he did not have change, instead... more

The hotel has a very interesting decor. Although it is probably not that old in actuality, it feels like you're walking through the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. That's not a bad thing, just trying to give some idea of what to expect. The area around the hotel is not really the best, so don't plan on walking around too much.... more

Very interesting hotel!!! Let me first say that our room was free. We got the free 2 days as part of a promotion from a time-share visit. We spent the last 2 days of our California Vacation here, and commuted to Venice Beach and Magic Mountain. You can get right on the 110 and get to anywhere, traffic permiting. We... more
