August 2008 ~ This resort TOPS them all! Better than any other, no where have I found friendlier staff, more beautiful settings and luxury of this kind in a 'carefree' setting; I am a long time aanr person and have been to countless resorts as have many of my friends we all agree this is as good as it gets.... more

The newly re-launched nudist resort (formerly Desert Shadows) now Desert Sun (the sun is rising, they are no longer in the shadows!) has everything I always liked about the original and has done away with everything I didn't like about the original. The Desert Sun Resort used to be called the Desert Shadows Resort & Spa, until recently when new owners (Elizabeth & John) officially took over.
