We stayed at the Wilderness Cabins Sept 23- 30th.They were clean and well equipped for a family of 4. We had decided to not rent a car and let the Disney transport system do its thing. The Magic Express from the airport to the hotel was great and we got to check in at 12;00 when we arrived. Bonus! Mind... more

We stayed in our travel trailer and had a great time. The campground is currently undergoing improvements. We loved the campfire with Chip & Dale and enjoyed sitting on the beach everynight watching the fireworks and the electric parade. Awesome campground!!! more

This past August we visited Disney and stayed in the cabins at the campground. This was our third time staying in the cabins and had a great time. As always the cabins are neat and clean and the buses to the different resorts are always on time. Although it rained for most of our trip, we probably got on more... more

Our stay in the cabin was fantastic! The cabin was really neat, lots of room, great atmosphere - we just loved it. For all the reviewers that are complaining about a little dust.... get real people, it's a cabin for goodness sake. It's called roughing it... ever heard of it? For all of you out there that are looking for... more

Disney Magical all the way. Great sites. Extra nice (clean) bath facilities. Kids love the nightly campfire and move, and of course the visit from Chip and Dale. Water Pageant like nowhere else. Sparkling clean pool with pleasant life guards. Check in/out staff very friendly. convenient transportaion within campground and all over Disney property. We've seen higher prices at lesser... more

Some friends and I rented out a cabin at Fort Wilderness because it was the cheapest way for 5 people to stay in one room, and we really liked the idea of having a full kitchen. Needless to say, for the price, the cabin itself, and the cleanliness, was impressive. The only complaint I had about the accommodations was that... more

Check in was slow. Entire cabin floor dirty & entire cabin very dusty. Dust pan in closet but no broom? There is a vacuum cleaner but the housekeeper didn't use it. I guess I was suppose to vacuum on vacation? Do not provide papertowels for the full size kitchen. Called to req papertowels & ea time sd they would bring... more

The check-in procedures are very Disney. Friendly and efficient. The campground is expansive and has all the amenities with the notable exception of free (or any) wireless internet. After staying at the Wilderness Lodge my wife and I had decided to give the campground a try. The pool is an average pool nothing like the hotels. I had hoped for... more

I'm not much of a nature girl so when my family unanimously voted to go camping I figured Disney would be a safe bet. And I was right! Most of the reviews on here are from people who stayed in a cabin. We stayed 2 nights in a tent. We had "neighbors" on both sides who were helpful and nice.... more

July 22, 2008. Just got back from a two night stay. My DH, and I and two of our grandchildren stayed in cabin 2231. We visit Disney frequently and have stayed in several of their resorts. Some parts of this resort were fabulous - (nothing was bad) - but some parts just OK. Cabins are rustic in a charming way... more
