Well, it was bound to happen eventually. I found a Holiday Inn Express that I am not impressed with. This property is in need of renovation. You will notice immediately upon entering that this is an older property. It lacks the "boutique" feel of many newer HI Express properties. We stayed here one night during MLB spring training. It is close to Legends Field, walking distance. Also, close to two great diners: Mom's Cafe and Pops & Sons. The hotel is VERY clean with newer bathrooms, great showers & water pressure, comfortable beds. It sets back off the main street so it seemed very quiet. There's a small pond... more

Used this hotel for a one night pre-cruise hotel on 2/24/08. I was having a hard time locating a hotel within a reasonable price range that offerred transportation from airport and to the cruise port. I stayed here because it was in town for a Bucs' game, and this place was just a ten-minute walk to the stadium. The hotel is your classic Holiday Inn -- i.e., no frills. But for what I needed, it got the job done. more

This hotel is excellent for me,. I work nearby and it has a decent breakfast. I read the other reviews, and I can agree that their version of a suite is not in line with most other chains, but it contains a fridge and microwave. Rooms are clean and it is by the steakhouse which is a nice reasonable place... more
