I visit my son at ISU regularly and have stayed at a few different hotels in Bloomington-Normal. This hotel is definitely the best hotel in the area for the price and it is easily the closest to campus. more

The hotel is very clean and nice looking, it does look a bit dated from the outside. If you don't know where it is, it's a bit confusing to get to. This was the only Motel that we had pre-booked before leaving England and it was the only one that we could not smoke in. Our room was apparantley faulty so we had to have a non- smoking room.They gave us a discount for the inconvenience. We found this hotel to be a great value for the money. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast adequate, etc. It was also in a nice neighborhood. My boyfriend and I stayed here and we had a no smoking room, but when I woke up in the morning, I could smell smoke coming into my room, and I checked all the rooms on our floor and they were no smoking rooms, also, so I was not pleased. Probably will not stay here again. more
