Disappointed with the place. An older motel, in need of some updating. Only one window in the room that faces the walkway, so there is no privacy if you want natural light. Not cleaned very well, it smelled of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room, and the bathroom door handle fell off. The staff were friendly, and the... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Days Inn for 2 nights, December 28-29, 2007. It was my birthday weekend and I had wanted to go on a nice ski trip weekend. Of course, I had wanted to stay at a nice place. Some other placed that I looked at was asking for $100+ more per night compared to the... more

Our room smelled. Our comforter was dirty. We had roaches. There were trains rattling by late at night. All for almost $200. Location is good but this place is generally a dump. more

This is a true "motor" lodge. While the web shows pictures of a quaint building where you check in, the lodge is a double decker drive up with wooden planks that shake when someone walks by your room. They advertise a pool but it's been closed for 10 years. Meanwhile, the owners offer up rooms on the back side of... more

The location is great since it across from the Searles Castle and close to a great and vibrant small downtown. The room was okay in a dated sort of way (but why was there a long hair on the pillow when I pulled the bedspread down?) but it lacks wireless, certainly an inexpensive basic to provide in 2007. There must... more

We've stayed at this Day's Inn several times when working concert gigs in the area. Usually, they give us the ground floor king bedroom (non smoking). This is a very nice room. Ask for it! I'm sorry I did not specify this room when I booked. We were placed in an upstairs room (king, non smoking). It was small and... more

This motel has a great location, so it's too bad they haven't spent any money on renovations. The room was barely clean, and dingy. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else. more

I have stayed at this Days Inn many times (over a dozen, I would guess). Granted it is not luxurious, and like another comment, I find the window unit AC/heater unit annoying (it can be quite loud when it kicks on). However, I do not find the rooms to be overly small, the bathroom is clean and well appointed. It... more

We used to stay here on a regular basis because we liked the ability to walk to Great Barrington restaurants and movies. Also, the interstate bus, that we sometimes took, stops directly across the street. We finally decided to shift to another hotel slightly out of town. The deciding factor for us was the air condition / heating unit located... more

Our room was infested with spiders & fleas. We spent the first 20 minutes killing the spiders & taking care of webs over the bed. Floor had not been vacuumed in some time. No fitted sheet on the beds, just a flat sheet that didn't cover the mattress properly. Blanket was decrepit with holes and well worn. On the plus... more
