the MGM was clean but highly congested. When we arrived the check in desk was a mass of people trying to get to the desk ( no line or orderly way to check in). Our room was a 5 minute walk to the elevator. It took about 20minutes to get to the pool and we had to go through the... more

We stayed at the MGM for 7 nights from 14-21 Sep. Firstly when we arrived we were informed that our room we had requested was not available (king) so we were put into a 2 queen room. We were not very happy as we had booked this months ago. We asked if we could move the next morning, which we... more

After many weeks of searching the internet we decided on stopping at the New York New York and booked this with Direct Holidays (Thomas Cook). A couple of weeks after paying we got a letter saying that they’d over booked the NYNY, and had moved us to the MGM. At first we were disappointed as we were looking forward to... more

FRIDAY AUGUST 29 We were first timers at the MGM. And had never stayed at the South end of the strip. Our flight was overbooked and we happily volunteered to linger in Vegas an extra night. We called the MGM since we have never experienced their hospitality. They were very helpful AND since we are members of the Players Club... more

Trip Report for May 22nd through May 29th The trip begins in Atlanta driving to Nashville. Leaving the kids with the grandparents. As we left, I was taking off my glasses to put on my prescription sunglasses. In doing so, the frame broke. Needless to say, I didn’t have time to replace them, so I wore my prescription sunglasses on... more

First of all, MGM doesn't honor American Express Platinum perks such as automatic room upgrade or late checkout. As the guy at check-in rudely told us. The hotel is really just average in terms of Vegas hotels. I spent about $350 per night for a Celebrity Spa suite and it didn't even have a flat screen TV. My brother stayed... more

First we got a room in the west wing. It seemed very stylish and modern but was a little dark and had no view. When asked to be moved to one with a view, we got transferred to the 19th floor in a different section of the hotel. Beautiful view, very comfortable bed, nice couch, desk and tv. Nice casino... more

We stayed in a west wing room. This place cracks me up. We didn't take the special west wing elevator the first time, so we get off on our floor and start walking. The hallway is the longest hallway ever! And it's normal hotel hallway for half, and then it turns into the west wing, and the carpet changes, the... more

I have stayed at many hotels in Las Vegas and I have been inside the MGM casino many many times...so I thought it would be a new experience to stay here at the hotel. I got a great reduced rate directly from the hotel's own website. First off- I think all the employees were very friendly and very helpful. But... more

I stayed here for 4 nights September 22 through to the 26th and for my first time staying at the MGM, I was very impressed. We were at the hotel before noon but our room wasn't ready, so we left our bags with the bellman and were given a confirmation number to call back around 3 p.m. to see if... more
