I spent a weekend at Sahara with a couple of friends and we all loved it. Room was large, clean and comfortable, and service was decent. Although it is in North Strip, the hotel has its own mono-rail station so you can quickly get to the heart of the Strip, and also have a safe ride home too. The atmosphere... more

I have visited the Sahara on 2 separate occasions and have never had a bad experience there. In 2005, our accomodations were excellent and well worth the value. When I visited for 2 weeks in 2007, I made it a point to book the Sahara again because I truly love the nostalgic atmosphere of the place. I had heard rumors... more

I thought the Sahara was fine. The room was your average two full bed square box. Furniture and décor were a little dated and worn, but serviceable. A/C worked very well!! There is a Monorail stop and Bus stop at the hotel. Which is nice since it's at the north end of the strip and not really close to the... more

Well, I just got back from Vegas, this was my 3rd time going there and the experience was nice, as allways,. with the exception of the hotel. That Sahara Hotel piece of s***. I went with my family. Checking in was kind of simple, but once we got to the hall way by our room I knew something was wrong... more

My wife and I wanted to go for a few day getaway to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Sahara, it was horrible, from the moment we arrived. The check in desk had only two people working, so at check in time, there was a line that was an hour and a half long. After speaking to a few people... more

The hotel is not too bad... Location is great... Bus stop and Monorail are just few minutes away..... My room was actually clean, spacious, even though it was just a deluxe room with 2 double beds. Hotel staff were very friendly. True, we had to wait 45 minutes to check in, but I have went to other hotels on the... more

I have been to Vegas several times but had never stayed at the Sahara. Price seemed very good so my girl friend and I gave it a shot. We got to the Hotel at 7pm. There was no line at check in the staff was very friendly. Our room in the Tangiers was very nice. Beds and pillows were very... more

They only thing good about staying was that we didn't have to wait long to check in, you just have to get their before 2p.m. The air for the room didn't work very well, couldn't even sleep under a sheet it was so hot. The room was dirty, stains all over the carpet, stains on the bathroom counter, and was... more

I was very worried to come here after all the bad reviews I had read. To my pleasant surprise, the check in only took maybe 15 min. the staff was super nice and helpful with all of our questions. The room was old but clean and had a great view of the Stratosphere. Housekeeping was also very nice, they called... more

It took well over an hour to check into our room. At 10pm along with 100's of others there were only 2 front desk clerks. There was a mix up with our room so we had to change rooms. In total it was 2 hours before we were settled in our room. We woke up in the morning to discover... more
