I have stayed in this Hotel on and off since Feb 2007(12 weeks in all). The rooms are standard Holiday Inn pretty much as you would find the world over and clean. The main areas of Bar and restaurant consist of very nice architecture, the bar/restaurant staff are excellent and the food is good with a full choice of Mexican... more

My check in experience was not good. I had to wait 15 minutes while they checked to see if my room was clean even though it was 3:30 pm. When they finally figured out it was ready I went to my room to find out they were still cleaning it. I needed some help from the business office for a... more

I was expecting a five star resort based on the pictures, but when I got there, it was just a hotel off of the highway, and I was very disappointed, especially since our rate came to $220/night. It was just a regular hotel, and the rates were very expensive for such. We were with Mexican citizens, and they were able... more

This is a great hotel for the business traveler. The people who wrote the other reviews thought they were on their way to Cancun for kids week. Seriously, great food, nice room and gym, relaxed atmosphere, good Mexican culture and people. It's a great place to stay. more

My thirteen-year-old son received an invitation to represent Team USA in a competition in Queretaro, Mexico. We were at the mercy of the organizing committee’s selection for all accommodations. With less than a month to plan the trip, and after reading reviews on TripAdvisor for the Holiday Inn Centro Historico, I must admit I had second thoughts about the trip.... more

Beautiful hotel and a few nice people like Nidia and Robert. The air conditioner did not work, so we thought that we would open the sliding doors to our room (2nd floor), that was fine until 12:30 a.m. when there were noisy kids playing around the swimming pool. The next day, I asked for a fan three times. I finally... more

The Executive section of the hotel was VERY nice. An above average Holiday Inn. However, my room was underground (I was told) and the A/C did not work so it was hot inside and difficult to sleep forthat reason. more

I had to be in Queratero for a meeting with some suppliers. I was not impressed with this hotel. I stayed in the executive section to specifically use the so called high speed connection, it was so hard to use and not very fast. Also there was no one that really cared about you. All they wanted to make sure... more

I have been traveling in the Americas for the last seven months, staying in hotels which ranged from 5 star to no star and this is the first one I have felt the need to warn other travelers about. The Staff have no interest in being there whatsoever, at best sullen at worst ignoring you - unless they are ignoring... more
