Stayed in a tennis "villa" in building E. Not quite my idea of a villa, rather a shabby condo. The condo was dated, equipment provided ready to fall apart, and the condo was dirty. The toilet was streaked in black marks as it had not seen a brush in ages. Dust on everything above eye level. Covers for the bed were... more

Just returned from our second stay at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. My husband and our two daughters, ages 11 and 13 spent four nights here. The accomodations were not "fancy" but are clean and functional. The kitchen was small but was well-stocked with everything we needed. Our villa was a one bedroom with captain's bunks and a fold-out... more

The first problem we experienced was inconsistency. We went with some friends and we paid the same for two different rooms, however; they were not of the same value. The rooms were totally different. One room had the buckbeds madeup with covers and everything, but the other one didn't even have covers on the buckbeds. The same room also had... more

Rooms are very very small. The children's bunks they advertise are actually sleeping shelves in the hallway, not beds (we stored our luggage there). We were in a one bedroom in Bldg. A so the two bedroom units may be larger, but I don't know. Yes the ocean front rooms actually face the ocean but unless you are on a... more

My family just returned from our stay in Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort, and we really enjoyed the trip. Our building, Admiral's Row, was closer to the ocean than the others and our room was oceanfront so we were blessed with a gorgeous view and were able to hear ocean waves all the time. As for the area,... more

older rooms and staff very disinterested in the fact that we had to leave early and still held us to a full nights rent that we werent even going to be there. I think that they could have at least have charged for the taxes and half a day stay. Very dissipointed more

We searched for weeks before deciding to stay at HHI Beach & Tennis Resort. We wanted to be in an area where we could afford to be in a beach front condo. We found our condo on VacationRentals411.com and I have to say, we are more than pleased - we fell in love! The villas are designed well for small... more

I have stayed at the HHBT resort for the past 6 years and loved it everytime! The resort is centrally located on the island, a short drive to the light house in Sea Pines, but a third of the cost compared to Sea Pines. There is a lot to do on the resort itself, tiki bar, restaurant, indoor bar and... more

We drove from Atlanta, GA it was only a four 1/2 hour drive but when we got to the resort it was dark the security was fine. They gave me directions to the room and... more

First of all....This resort is awesome. You can not get a better value on the island and still be right on the beach. It has everything you could ever need, (Pools, Tennis, Ocean, tiki bar, restaraunt, store, bar/lounge) We have stayed at this resort numerous times and I am here to tell you....Choose wisely and rent from a private owner!!!... more
