My husband and I stayed at the Peabody Memphis for two nights. we were celebrating his birthday and it was just the two of us. What a treat! Very classy, elegant hotel. It was beautiful in and out! I clean houses for a living and the room was very clean, itried to spot something wrong and couldn't. The bed was... more

We stayed at the Peabody Aug 12th for one night on our tour of Civil War sites. The hotel surpassed my expectations. It was gracious, historic and beautiful, charming, and friendly. The ducks were so cute and performed on cue. The breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and had a wealth of pillows. The self park was convenient, but... more

"Welcome to the South's Grand Hotel" is the line delivered by the Peabody Duckmaster before the start of the daily walking of the Peabody Ducks to spend their day in the lobby fountain. This is truly a Five Star Hotel. It is simply the nicest hotel at which I have ever stayed and would recommend it to anyone. The rooms... more

This is our second stay at The Peabody. It was even better than the last stay. The first stay we booked through American Express and took the room they gave us. It was a little on the smallish side, but this time we picked the King Deluxe on the hotel's website. It was beautiful. We were on the 6th floor... more

The Peabody is a great doorway to the South. The hotel is spotless and the service is excellent and friendly. We stayed here on two different occasions in June of 2008. Room service was betther the first time than the second. Children and adults alike will delight in the ducks as they parade in and out of the lobby. Do... more

We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on our way home from driving cross-country. We'd all stayed at nice hotels before, but I don't think we were prepared for the level of hospitality we received at the Peabody. The lobby was impeccable, the rooms lush & comfortable (ours had a view!) and the location is unbeatable. We walked... more

I love everything about this hotel. To me, it feels like home. The lobby, the staff, the rooms, the location, the food & drinks... everything is perfect here. It is the picture of old southern hospitality. The ducks are cute, they are not why I stay at the Peabody. I stay here because it makes me happy, there is a... more

The peabody is rich with history. The food is great. The rooms are small but that is because of the age of the building. They keep the building well updated. THe duck parade is a must for anyone traveling through Memphis. I recommend a trip down Beale street, eating at the Beauty Shop and Automatic Slim's. You have to have... more

my husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Memphis Peabody and enjoyed it immensely. The georgous lobby, lavish details, piano playing in the lobby, recalled the gracious charm and elegance of a bygone era. The twice-daily duck procession to and from that exquisite lobby fountain was too cute for words. Our spacious, comfortable room was... more
