The hotel staff were very friendly, but the hotel itself is really lacking. It's a lot of little things that add up to a generally disappointing stay. The hair dryer doesn't work, the only candy machine in the building doesn't work, the lights on the elevator don't work (so you don't know which of the 15 floors it is approaching).... more

This hotel is perfect for touring the city of Memphis. It is across the street from the pricier Peabody,(and their ducks!) around the corner from the famous restaurant the Rendezvous and three blocks from Beale street.
