Best Western had overbooked and therefore arranged for us to stay at the Hill Country Inn. I can assure you that had there been any thing else available in town, we would have turned around and left immediately after entering the room. The room was dark. We selected Hill Country Motel from previous reviews. We did not have the same breakfast experience (other reviewers stated that there was a yummy breakfast). It was below average and they were out of nearly everything. Ended up going to great restaurant (Bluebonnet Cafe) for good "diner style" breakfast. We really like staying here for an overnight sleep and run. The rooms have always been clean and you can drive right up to the door. The self serve fresh hot waffles for Breakfast shaped like Texas make this place a real Bargin. more

DELUXE continental breakfast (juices, coffee, milk, cereal, toast, bagels, belguim waffles, BISCUITS AND GRAVY too!!!! great price ($53 for one night, 2 adults, 2 kids). can't beat that. nice large room; in-room fridge, coffee maker, iron/board. comfortable beds, fluffy pillows. helpful, friendly front desk. offered dining suggestions and directions. clean pool area, 4 ft. deep. Check out not until noon... more
