We chose this motel because we were meeting my daughter and she needed a place that allowed dogs. I was somewhat apprehensive but the rates were good and we were staying only one night. We were pleasently surprised at this lay-over 1 night stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites Monticello, traveling North from NC. The value was exceptional for a family of four. This hotel is an average hotel overall. We had made a reservation for one night and then called in to change it to two nights. They lost one of the reservations so we only had one night booked when we arrived. They found us a room for the second night but we had to switch rooms after the first night... more

Stayed here for UVA Parents Weekend October 23, 2004. The room (actually was a suite) was immense with a sofabed, a table and 2 chairs, a desk and a reading chair along with a microwave and refrigerator. This Sleep Inn was very clean, accepts pets and the staff was courteous. Breakfast was basic but fresh. more

We stayed here on Oct. 12 and we were very happy with the staff and room....New hotel so everything smells new and the beds were plush. Had micro and fridge in room. Hotel is very convenient to Montecello and olde town. Continental breakfast was better than average. Would stay here again.. more

We stayed here in Aug. Hotel was pretty new and clean. Room on the smaller side but nice. Pool was a little on the cool side. more
