This property was amazing! We went to Maui for a family wedding/vacation. We had an infant and six year old, so I was worried after reading some things online about the condition our condo would be. I was worried for no reason! The property and our condo were wonderful! The condo was clean, updated and included plenty of linens, towels... more

We stayed at Kamaole Sands July 29th to August 13th in Building 5-208. The condo was spotless and nicely decorated. Everyone from the grounds keepers to security to the cleaning service were very nice and helpfull. The pool area is very clean and family oriented. The only drawback is there is only one pool. We would have loved an adult... more

We found unit 5-301 via another review online. We HIGHLY recommend that if you stay at the Kama'ole Sands, that you book your condo through a rental company on Maui that allows you to SELECT your unit. This was our 3rd time to the Kama'ole Sands, but our first time in Unit 5-301, which was IMPECCABLE! Great kitchen, tastefully furnished,... more

We stayed 4 nights at Kamaole Sands in a condo and did not like it at all. To start with the check in staff were very rude. Questions were answere rudely. Our condo was an older model and did not cool very well at all. There was and upstairs room the was always hot and the front bedroom was hot... more

We just returned from our 10 day stay at Kamaole Sands in Kihei (July 20-30th '08)and I must say we had a wonderful time, despite our initial disappointment. On arrival to the complex we were given rm 4-403 (2 BR partial ocean view). I was quite disappointed, as it was not updated, the sofa was filthy & falling apart &... more

After a 10 hour flight to get to Maui, we were anxious with excitement to get to the Kamaole Sands. The check in wasn't overly friendly. It was obvious that the girl had given her spill 1000's of times, so when speaking to me it was no friendlier than it had to be. She wasn't rude, just not friendly. You... more

Having read thru a lot of these reviews before we set off, I have to admit we arrived at the complex feeling a little apprehensive with our adrenelin pumping, ready to do battle and get our yucky room swapped out. No way - are you kidding me?? We stayed in 10-107 and it was so delightful I don't care if... more

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Kamaole Sands. The first week we were with my family, so we stayed in a completely renovated 3 bedroom/3 bath, unit 9-405. My dad found this unit somehow, and booked it through the owner, not the resort. Great value for $299/night. It had air conditioning in the living room, master bedroom, and... more
