After searching many places, I stumbled upon this condo and had read someone else's reviews on this one particular unit, Unit A202, and went directly to their website. We stayed there from May 4-12, 2008. This is a SPECTACULAR place!!!! I am a neat freak, and feel that when one person says that a place is clean, it never seems... more

We spent April 19-26 at Hale Mahina. We had unit B303 and it was beautiful, just done over and in immaculate shape. It is a one bedroom unit and as mentioned before in other reviews the bedroom is in the back of the unit and very noisy from street and divided highway traffic. Because you need to leave the louvers... more

Four of us stayed at the Hale Mahina from April 16 to April 25, 2008. We had a top floor unit in bldg B (I think it was B, when you pull into the parking lot it is on the right side). Our unit was perfect, it was 2 bedrooms, one in the back of the unit and one upstairs... more

We stayed in A202 Hale Mahina Condo twice and would never go to the Hawiian Islands and stay anywhere else. This visit we were married on the private beach just outside the condo. As you walk into this beautiful condo, you can see straight through to the ocean through the oversized glass slider door to the lanai. It is so... more

We recently stayed at hale mahia beach resort, we made the mistake of booking through one of the larger rental companies, While we were there I learned that you can actually book through some of the owners. And the units that are privately rented seemed to be much nicer then the larger company rented ones. None the less the stay... more

Our entire family of 12, 6 adults and 6 kids(ages 11-19) eagerly awaited our 7 day vacation in Maui!!! We booked through Maui Holidays and Glen raved about the Hale Mahina. We were never warned that the property managers at the resort, DID NOT WANT CHILDREN THERE!!! From the moment we arrived, we were harassed and told to be quiet.... more

Our family of four (boys aged 12 & 14) stayed in Unit #B403 from March 13-26, 2008. The Hale Mahina is comprised of 2 seperate 4 storey buildings with a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom units. All units face the ocean and the 4th floor units have the 2nd bedroom and bath in a loft area. Views are wonderful... more

Wonderful week stay at Hale Mahina with spouse and 3 kids- 11,14,17. Great pool and hot tub area, facing the ocean. Often we were the only ones in the pool or hot tub. Grassy area for lawn chairs (sun and shade). Beachfront- not the best for swimming, but good for boogie boarding, snorkeling, and shell seeking. # bedroom unit was... more

We, family with kids, stayed at the Hale Mahina in June 2007. Our first family trip to Maui and after reading the last post, I feel a bit guilty for not posting after our trip. Here are the pros and cons during our stay- Pros of the Unit A205- Ocean front, water was 40-50 feet away, gorgeous unit, completely remodeled,... more

This was our first trip to Maui, and after this experience, it will be our last. This complex should be advertised as an over 55 complex, or couples only. We traveled with several families, and were stalked by the resident managers the entire week. No playing in the pool, no games on the grass, basically No Fun, and this is... more
