An amazing honeymoonGood location in Fishermans Wharf (that is a bit of a dump in some areas) basic but clean hotel split into 2 buildings stay in main building if you can all the usual Holiday Inn features. Small pool but Ok for a quick dip more
This hotel has a great location and was booked through Priceline for $135.00. The major problem is that the Holiday Inn is two separate buildings with no convenient way to commute between them. Most services in the secondary building are usually closed and you really feel isolated. Rooms were nice and large but a bit noisy. Still a great bargain... more
This was a nice hotel. The main advantage is the location. Within a few blocks of Fisherman's wharf, and just a block from public transportation. I would certainly recommend the Holiday Inn Fisherman's wharf to anyone traveling to San Francisco. The hotel is showing its age somewhat, with worn hallways and common areas. However, the rooms were clean and well... more
We have four nights here. Friends had advised us that a car wasn't needed in San Francisco, so we took a cab to the hotel and arranged to collect our car on the day we left. This saved us money on rental and the expensive parking rate at the hotel. Check in was efficient, although somewhat brisk. Room was spacious,... more
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and had no problems. The rooms were what we expected from Holiday Inn, very comfortable and clean. The staff very helpful and quick to our needsl. The concierge helped us get sold out tickets to Alcaraz. We requested an additional pillow and two extra towels and also the sink did not drain properly.... more
Excellent location. we booked 2 rooms and requested adjoining or adjacent which we didn't get. We ended up just down the hall from each other on the priority club floor. Stayed 5 nights and the rooms were very nice with a fairly good sized bathroom, king bed, sofa bed and the usual desk and chair etc. Street rather noisy at... more
The Holiday Inn at Fishermans Wharf was an okay hotel. The location was great. In walking distance to Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square and many restaurants on Fishermans Wharf. The building seemed a little old and could use a few more updates. Parking was extremely expensive and it was inconvenient that the main lobby was in another building. Overall, we were... more
The first good thing happened when we arrived. You are allowed to park for 20 minutes for checking in (but no one's counting). Location of this hotel is brilliant, within walking distance of the Embarcadero, bus stop and cable car. I would have preferred the Radisson location because it's the only hotel that is actually exiting onto the Embarcadero but... more
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the above hotel at the beginning of July. We have stayed here on two previous occasions and then and during our last stay, we could not fault anything. The service was excellent - we requested a room that we had stayed in the last time we used the hotel and... more
This hotel is in a great location for exploring san francisco, fisherman's wharf is just a short stroll as are 2 cable car turnarounds which take you straight into the same place in the centre, you can take powell-mason or powell-hyde. If you are going to be using the cable car get a 3 day pass which is unlimited for... more
