The good points: lots of very large drawers and good closet space for unpacking; fast reliable internet if you take the $12.95 package; fast elevators and lots of them; very good gym and equipment. The location is good but the same could be said of dozens of other hotels in the area. Annabelle's restaurant across the street is fabulous, go... more

We Stayed in This Hotel for one day. the check in area is always crowded, and you dont have to travel far to find a starbucks! the elevators are really confusin, and ineffective. you are going to need a second job to pay the parking bill! i think last time i checked, it was $55 per day. we got a... more

I am hard pressed to write anything bad about this hotel. Good location, very good and modern rooms. If anything, it is too big and impersonal. But my room was excellent and quiet and the staff did all that they needed to do to check me in and check me out. The hotel is on the more expensive side, but... more

I regularly stay t this hotel on business. For the price, you expect to get clean windows! I have complained time and time again and they keep telling me "they are all like that." These windows have simply not been cleaned out the outside for years! On my latest stay, it appears they have removed ALL the soda/vending machines on... more

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Marriott in downtown San Francisco and loved everything about the hotel. The hotel lobby is spacious and beautiful and all the staff were exceptional. We had a beautiful panoramic view from our room on the 36th floor. The rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and are nicely decorated with plenty... more

Stayed for 3 nights. The rate was $199 for a larger corner room when other major downtown hotels were ranging from $260 to $425. The room was spacious, well appointed, very clean, very large desk/table to work at, plasma TV, very comfortable bed and quiet. The only negatives were the coffee maker that makes one cup at a time and... more

My 2 boys (ages 6 & 8 yrs) joined my husband in SF while he was there for business. While this is primarily a "business" hotel, we were able to enjoy the hotel as well. Not s super "family friendly" hotel...but the staff is extrememly helpful, bringing a refrigerator, microwave, & rollaway bed upon request. Could not have asked for... more

We Stayed at the S.F. Marriott for 3 nights. We arrived at the hotel and my first impression was that it was very modern, with sleek decor, very open and Cold, and a trendy bar downstairs. The front desk girl was nice, but seemed really confused as we were using our marriott points for the 3rd night. ( we were... more

I recently stayed at the San Francisco Marriott for a conference. I came away with a positive impression of the property. The rooms were quite nice, definitely better than your standard business travel fare. Everything was clean and spacious. The lobby and convention/conference areas were in great shape and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was priced just about... more

We loved our stay here. The staff was wonderful. We booked on a Marriott Friends and Family discount, so we were not sure what we would get, but we had two nice connected rooms. The hotel was clean, and the staff was wonderful, everyone seemed genuinely happy. Room was nicely enhanced, flat screens, featherbeds, etc. They gave us a fridge... more
