The hotel has large and well equipped bedrooms - ours was a ground floor room and our doors opened out onto the pool terrace - noisy but nice nonetheless. 2 minutes to the oceanfront. Breakfast was very good. Valet parking efficient. I thought it was a bit expensive for what the hotel offered but I would not hesitate to return! more

This was my newly wife and I's (we stayed at Pacific Terrace for our honeymoon) first time staying in San Diego and I couldn't have asked for better. Before we even got to the hotel the concierge went above and beyond my needs to make us happy and set everything for as soon as we got there. Once we got... more

My wife, almost four year old daughter and I just got back from a week at the Pacific Terrace Hotel. We stayed in one of the "Family Suites" because we wanted a bit of a kitchen available so we didn't always have to feed our little girl restaurant food all the time. Here's what I liked about it: - If... more

We stayed at the Pacific Terrace Hotel for one night last month before moving on to a rented house in La Jolla. The hotel receptionist was delightful and exceptionally helpful. On arriving we were told that we had been upgraded to an executive suite which naturally made us feel well disposed to the hotel. Our room was lovely and was... more

Booked here because of tripadvisor reviews. Not disappointed, but overall it is pricey for what you get. Pacific Beach area of San Diego is a laid-back and scenic extent of beach that doesn't suffer the pretentiousness of La Jolla, or the city feel of the San Diego centre. This is a small hotel with some great features, including: good breakfast... more

Booked the Pacific Terrace based on the reviews in this forum and was not disappointed. Great location, great views and great service. No need to add our own photos as the traveler photos cover everything very well. Before our stay at PTH , we stayed a few days ast Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica so PTH at first felt... more

We stayed at the Pacific Terrace as part of our Highway 1 Honeymoon Road Trip. We booked online a few days before arriving on the strength of the reviews on this website and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and on a quiet street but close enough to bars and restaurants to... more

This hotel is a beautiful hotel in awesome location right on the beach. We were on the 2nd floor with an ocean view room, the view was spectacular espeacially at sunset. What really makes this hotel special is the customer service. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay here a special and memorable one. The nightly turndown... more

This is a high class hotel beside the Ocean on San Diego's Pacific Beach. My wife, two teenagers and I stayed for four nights sharing an Ocean view room. Everything was of a very high standard with first-rate cleanliness (key to any hotel) not only in the lobby but all corridors, the bedroom and pool area. The HD flatscreen room... more

This is everything that the other reviewers have written. Lovely sea views, nice beach, good staff, great rooms but a bit over-priced for what you get. For 550 dollars a night you would normaly get a hotel with more facilities and a bit of soundproofing (very thin walls made for disturbed sleep). Also the additional 20 dollars for parking and... more
