My family stayed here one night while attending the US Open. The location is fabulous - next to marina and Seaport Village. The trolley is right across the street for transportation to local attractions. We loved everything about this hotel - our room (corner room in south tower with wonderful city and bay views), pool (beautiful resort-style), lobby and grounds.... more

Enjoyed a fabulous view of downtown San Diego from my room on the 25th floor. But, was awakened several times each night by the trains blasting their horns as they crawled through downtown. They almost seemed to be doing it on purpose. The room was clean and comfortable, I won't be staying here again. I suggest staying in Mission Valley... more

My husband and I are here at the Marriott right now. I'm up writing because we haven't been able to sleep for the past 2 nights because of the incredibly noisy conditions outside the window. I've stayed at the Marina three times before and this is the first time I've been here since the main lobby was renovated. The renovations make the area larger and, unfortunately, it can get crowded as people -- especially groups -- wait for taxis, buses, etc. At the time of my stay, they had not begun upgrades of the sleeping... more

Attended an event at the Conference Center next door; great location to be. Also, in comfortable walking distance to all al-fresco restaurants. Loved the pool area. Rooms pretty big but especially bathrooms need an urgent touch of modernisation. more

Excellent hotel. Me and a g/f stayed there one night. They let us check-in at 9:30 am into the room and check-out at 2pm. Staff was very proffesional. Would definitely stay there again. Excellent location - close to Seaport Village and Gaslamp district. more

Joined my husband attending a seminar last week of April and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Marriott. Generally prefer to stay @ Westin, Ritz, but this was very nice.
