If you like your showers cold, your hotel staff uninterested and your room cheesy, faux Victorian this is the hotel for you. I had to visit someone at JH Hospital and wasn't there but at night, but it was still pretty miserable. The soda machine was broken for the entire duration of my stay, so I was out of luck... more

I thought this was the worst place I have ever stayed. It reminded me of what was called a flop house... Narrow dingy hallways, the room was tiny and had no closet there was a really cheap looking clothes rack beside the bed.. We got locked in the garage and had to call the front desk to come and let... more

Upon taking over at the Hopkins Inn in late November 2007, I would have had to agree with some of the reviews on this site. The property was in need of a renovation. Let me tell you that I am proud to say the Hopkins Inn has completed this renovation and we are extremely satisfied with our property. All of...

This is a modest place that proudly shows it roots as an 90 year old apartment building. There is no elevator, but we had no problem with a few stairs. The building is in an area with several new complexes among the older homes. Johns Hopkins University campus is a block away. Visitors to Hopkins can call the hotel for... more

The price and location is good, if you need to visit Johns Hopkins. That's about it! Beware that the inn is old, has not been recently renovated, has five levels, and NO ELEVATOR. The staff was neither professional, nor very helpful. I witness an elderly couple checking in and when they learned their room was on the 3rd floor asked... more

All I can say is, WOW! I have never felt more at home, nor have I ever been to a hotel that just has such a friendly and warm vibe to it as soon as you walk in. Ive told all of my friends about this place, so, hopefully they dont mind if I give them too much business, lol.... more

I was visiting Baltimore for the weekend and had originally reserved a room in a 3 star hotel. Expedia contacted me and said that my original hotel pick was overbooked and that I needed to choose another hotel. I needed to stay close to the Roland Park area and Hopkins Inn was the next closest location. Expedia emphasized that I... more

i highly recommend this hotel. in a world of soul-less corporate-created hotels with sterile cookie-cutter decor, this place is breath of much-needed fresh air! the place just FEELS so good. 1920's decor made up of REAL furniture (not the mass-produced junk you see in even the more-expensive corporate-owned hotels) that shows its age in scrapes. a cozy thread-bare but elegant... more

My son and I were touring the school with family, in prospect of him attending in the summer. The place reminded me of when I was a child and we used to go out favorite grandmothers house on holidays. The place was cozy, quaint, and overall, felt like I was in someones home. The staff was always there to help... more

I reserved a room at the Hopkins Inn in Baltimore (next to Johns Hopkins) online at their website, then called three days after to confirm the reservation. They told me that everything was fine, blah blah blah. Two months later, and it's three days before the trip, so I call one last time to make a final confirmation (since it... more

DO NOT, I SAY AGAIN, DO NOT STAY HERE. It is the biggest [----] ever. First of all the staff is not friendly at all, as im writting this i just saw a man being ignored by the lady who is doing nothing but sitting on myspace the entire day on her computer. The parking is TERRIABLE, and the whole... more
