I really enjoyed my stay. A friend and I were in town for a concert at McCarren Park Pool which was conveniently a few quick blocks from the hotel. The hotel had free parking. I was a little nervous about bringing my car to Brooklyn, but it was 100% fine and didn't cost me a dime. The free continental breakfast... more

I stayed for one night at the Hotel Le Jolie, and have to say, I will never stay there again. Let's go to the positive first. I'm very picky about rooms, but while the rooms were small, they were tastefully decorated, very modern, an incredibly comfortable bed and a nice flat screen TV. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Now... more

We booked this hotel for a concert at the MacCarren Park Pool and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the tv was huge - overall a great stay. It was a short (5-10 min) and safe walk to the concert. Good neighborhood, easy to find with mapquest directions. Reasonably priced for New York.... more

We stayed here from May 24th, 2008 to May 31st, 2008. We liked the hotel. It is the relative size for rooms in the NY area. We had a corner room on the 5th floor with a city view. We had no problem with our bathroom size and location in the room. I used to be a Mid-Town native so... more

My husband and I stayed three nights here while on our honeymoon. The hotel was pretty easy to find, and almost looks a little out of place in the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhood. Our room was small, but everything in it was very nice. The king bed was very comfortable, there is a closet and plenty of drawers for your luggage,... more

Recently spent a week at this hotel. This was our third trip to New York and having previously sampled the delights and prices(!!) of Manhatton we wanted something 'out of town' for a base. Neighbourhood in vicinity of hotel rather run down but once through the hotel door found ourselves in a clean, neat and modern hotel. Staff polite, efficient... more

My friend and I spent three nights at the Le Jolie last weekend. The staff went out of its way to help us with directions, transportation and other advice. Each and every one of them from the Front Desk to the Breakfast Room to Housekeeping had a smile and cheery disposition. We shared a twin room (twin rooms all face... more

I was looking for a nice hotel in Brooklyn for a recent personal visit. This hotel was VERY clean and the rooms were adorable. The mattresses were wonderful and the big screen TV hanging on the opposite wall was a big hit with my son. I guess my only criticism would be the boring breakfast (included with all rooms). It... more

We arrived quite late on a Friday night, and the front desk and bellman were quite pleasant. The lobby is quite nice, and our room was on the 2nd floor. Once we got to our room, it was quite comfortable, although it was VERY small. Which is typical for any NY area hotel room. We managed our space by putting... more

The hotel is overpriced for what it is. It is close to the subway, the beds are comfortable, it has a big TV, and is clean, but it has many problems. First the room was very small. We couldn't even open the door to the bathroom all the way because it hit the bed. Second, the bathroom is so small... more
