If you don't need all the amenties of a hotel this place is great!! We had a wonderful time. The inn keeper is a charming and delightful person. Our suite was very clean and spacious. Not expensive at all....really cozy. The trolley goes directly in front the inn and takes you to the French Quarters in 15 minutes! more

This hotel has some advantages and disadvantages. It's an old house with about 10 guest rooms. If you are looking for "JUST A ROOM" away from all the tourist action without any luxuries then this is just the place for you. It's located at the very far end of Canal Street and right across the street from the trolly. You... more

We recently stayed at La Maison Bleu during our trip to the Sugar Bowl and were quite pleased with our accomodations. Billy, the owner, is a long time New Orleans resident who gave us excellent travel advice on where to eat, visit and which neighborhoods to stay out of. He is warm and friendly and willing to help in any... more

The rooms were very spacious along with being cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in the area. The staff went above and beyond their duties to see to it that we were happy and taken care of. We will be definately staying there again. more

During the Hurricane Ivan, Jeanne, Karl evacuations, we were scheduled to check in 9/18/04. We called 9/11/04 to ask to cancel without penalties being NEW ORLEANS WAS EVACUATING. The management told us curtly the hotel was remaining open and we would be charged. It was taking evacuees up to 24 hours to cover a distance of 2 1/2 hours! As... more

Came upon this guesthouse through tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. Was a little concerned at first, the rates were too good to be true. Mark is a perfect host and he upgraded us to a suite on the top floor. It was by far the largest room you can get for $85.00 any where! We had a chance to check out... more

At first, the guest house was a little difficult to find because of all the construction. But, once we arrived, the place was absolutely beautiful. We were originally supposed to stay in a regular room with only one king size bed. But, upon our arrival, the gentleman asked us if we would like to stay in one of the suites... more
