We've stayed at the Bourbon Orleans several times over the years and always enjoyed our stay; particularly for the location. Yes, the outside rooms can be a little noisy but lots of hotels in/near Bourbon street can be that way. Request an inside room (courtyard view) instead. We've never had a real problem regarding noise. Staff are always nice and... more

This was one of my best stays in New Orleans. This was our first time back since Katrina, me and my wife were going every year before that. The hotel staff was great. I got a good deal from there web site and the room was clean and ready upon arrival. The only complaint I had was that the waitress... more

Check in was at 4pm and our room was not ready. We had to wait an hour and ask them again if the room was ready. The sheets had Pubic hair all over them after the room was made up. We had them put new sheets with less hair on them. Wife refused to use the top sheets. The next... more

Well, I think it's safe to say you can officially discount any of the negative reviews you may have seen regarding this beautiful, historic French Quarter hotel. After reading a lot of mixed reviews about the Bourbon Orleans I decided to go with my gut and book the room based on location alone (the is no better location for a... more

I've stayed at the Bourbon Orleans many times in the past. In fact, I have posted several good reviews of this hotel. Since it is no longer a Wyndham, it has taken a turn for the worse. While booking through Wyndham, I always got a great room, free internet and other amenities. Since they are no longer with Wyndham, I... more

Great location... I contacted the property directly and booked a king size balcony room facing Orleans. No problems with my reservation. If noise bothers you I recommend that you book and interior room, you can hear the noise from the crowds outside. The room was clean, though you can see the wear and tear of the rug. You could also... more

My husband and I go to New Orleans every year to attend JazzFest. Last year we stayed at the Bourbon Orleans, which at the time was a Wyndham Hotel. We enjoyed it so much last year that we decided to stay there again this year. However, it should be noted that this hotel is no longer part of the Wyndham... more

This place was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I was in a group of 4 and they gave us a single bed, knowing we had a reservation for 4 people. They said, we are booked to which I responded, we have a reservation. Here is my reservation number, here is my date of the reservation. It did not matter... more

We travelled extensively throughout the United States during April and early May, and this hotel was the worst experience and spoilt the New Orleans portion of our trip. Do not rely on any promises about rooms if you book on the internet at this hotel. We booked and paid through the internet months ago (bookit.com) and arrived at this beautiful... more

If you're looking for a spot smack dab in the middle of the Quarter, this is the place. A great location within walking distance of all the sites, with one side facing Bourbon St. The room itself was nothing special, pretty much what you'd expect. We didn't use the pool, located in an enclosed courtyard, but given the time, and... more
