This was our second stay at the Embassy Suites Beach Walk. The first stay (summer 2007) was better than our recent visit. What we like: relatively spacious rooms, new hotel, close to shopping and restaurants, close to beach, nice breakfast Dislikes: 1. Trump tower construction noise is a modest annoyance during breakfast and occasionally caused stopped traffic on the only... more

We spent 5 nights and 6 days at the wonderful Embassy Suites Waikiki. We were very nicely greeted when we arrived and were given a fresh cocktail while we checked in. We had reserved a room with a partial ocean view and ended up with one in the Hula Tower on the 19th floor that had the best view of... more

We had a one bedroom suite and it was nice and roomy. Decent view although the new Trump Tower being built next door has almost destroyed their view for most rooms on the West side of the hotel. The down side right now is the noise. The Trump Tower crew starts work about 7:00 AM and the Outrigger next door... more

My family of five (2 adults & 3 teenage children) stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite at the Embassy Suites from 18th to 21st August 2008. The suite was fantastic 2 large bedrooms, lounge room, 2 bathrooms and a lanai off each of the main rooms. This was a perfect place for my family to stay otherwise... more

Great location - close to the beach, shopping and restaurants! Everyone from the front desk staff to the housecleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and roomy, clean and had a decent view. The best part was the breakfast provided by the hotel - a large variety of cooked foods, fruits, cereals, etc. and included a "cooked... more

Very nice hotel! Clean and new. Staff are friendly and helpful. Big breakfast and free drinks from 5:30 to 7:30. One small error, if you have a room high the the towers the cleaning personnel don't arrive until after noon. But, its not a big deal. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and shopping. Good for everyone!! more

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk for three nights earlier this month via the Hilton's HHonors Diamond rewards program. Our stay on Oahu was brief, followed by a more leisurely visit to Kauai, but our experience was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and furnished very nicely with appropriate island/beach decor. We stayed in a suite, which... more

My family just returned from Waikiki Beach. Several reviews stated that noise was a factor. During our stay, the noise was not a factor. We were in the Aloha Tower. The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the omelet bar! The evening reception served awesome mai-tais. The munchies were the same every evening, chips and salsa, veges and dip, goldfish crackers,... more

I took three of my children to Hawaii for a high school reunion in June and stayed for 8 nights at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beachwalk. I had requested a quiet room with a view, and we were thrilled to get a corner room on the 18th floor looking toward both the beach and the mountains. Every day I would... more

We were a little concerned that the construction noise would be too much. Not at all bad and our room looked directly at the 18th floor of Trump. There was more noise coming from the hotel across the street on the ocean side. There was an ocean view if I stood on my tip toes or hung over the lanai... more
