I stayed in Honolulu for a week for my honeymoon, this hotel was me and my husband last stop. We had the pleasure of staying at the Hale Koa for 6 nights and 7 days, and left there to stay at The Pacific Beach for one night. I only booked them because my new husband likes aquariums and they have... more

The hotel worked well for my purpose as I was traveling alone on family emergency and hardly in the room. The room I stayed in was tidy, however, it was very dated and it was in bad need of renovations. The carpet, drapes, linens, towels, shower and shower curtains were very old. The beds were adequate although it felt like... more

Looked up this hotel through Trip Advisor before we stayed at this hotel. The hotel was essentially as described. The rooms were a bit beat up and the carpets were stained. The price was average if the room was in better condition. Would probably not stay their again. The breakfast was very good but a guest should eat on the... more

I travel quite often for business! I can say this is the worst experience i ever had with the front desk staff! The guy misinformed me about the breakfast being included with the rate and instead of apologizing to me he started this bad attitude towards me! I called the manager and he was even worst. They had only one... more

I would definitely Not stay at Pacific Beach again!!! I carefully considered ta reviews before booking this property, and at the time I booked, the majority were positive. Unfortunately I must agree with a recent booking noting how dirty the room is. We checked in to 7th floor, beach tower today and I can't wait to check out! A hotel... more

My family stayed at the Pacific Beach for three nights in February. My kids are 7 and 10. I was not impressed at all. Sure, it's right across the street from Waikiki, but there must be some better hotels. My first reaction upon entering the room was - EEEEEEWWWW! The carpet was threadbare. The fixtures were rusty. Everything just seemed... more

My husband and I stayed at the Pacific Beach for 7 nights to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had a partial ocean view on the 10th floor. We could sit on our lanai and see the ocean. We were skeptical after reading some of the reviews. But here's what we found: the hotel was clean and everything in our... more

We have just got back from staying at the Pacific Beach for 7 nights This hotel was fantastic for value, the location was brilliant less than 2 minutes walk from the beach and shops The only downside was that the rooms could do with a bit of paint and redecorating, but it didn't really bother us as we were only... more

My husband and I took our first trip to Hawaii the end of February into March of this year 2008. Decided to stay in Oahu because of all the action. Took one day trip to Maui, could not wait to get back to our Home Pacific Beach. This was a perfect place to stay. The room was an OK room,... more

My mother and I stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel during our stay in February 2008 and we loved it! Great location, right across the street from the beach and our hotel room was exactly as we expected it to be, but the best part was our view! We loved waking up every morning to the beautiful view and just... more
