Just got back trom staying at Keifito's Plantation Retreat for over a week. The location cannot be beat in West End in Roatan. It was a short and safe walk down the beach to the main part of West End and Keifito's provided you with a seclusion and view that was one of the best parts of the visit. We... more

We didn't have a very enjoyable stay here, unfortunately. Philip, the host, was new to the business, which was clear to see. He seemed more interested in having a drink or doing other stuff than helping us out with any problems we might have. Also, he treated us like little kids, telling us to turn of lights, the gas, even... more

Wanted a quiet, comfortable, clean and calm place with AC. Got way more than I bargained for. Keifito's is all that and more. The location is perfect. About 10 minutes walk down the beach from West End and 20 minutes from West Bay it is perfectly located to be close but not too close. It has good water pressure and... more

We three women and 4 year old stayed for 8 days. It was a beautiful location, very clean spacious rooms, with large deck with hammocks... Phillip is an excellent host. We went horseback riding and snorkeling right off the beach in crystal clear water. And Phillip joined us! This is big, I run a hotel in Belize. . It is... more

Oh my gosh, what a relief it was when I saw this place. At first glance, you see lots of steps that will surely give you a workout! My friend and I had walked for twenty minutes looking for places "off the beaten path" when we came across this place and had read about in the Lonely Planet. Phillip is... more

My first time in Roatan, and it was a lovely island. There are dozens of hotels on the beach or across from the beach, lots of cafes and bars, music playing, a very fun scene. But, just south of all that and reachable only by a short walk over a boardwalk and some rocks...is this spot. I hesitate to say... more

Keifitos Plantation Feb.08 If you are looking for a place to visit Roatan that's a little off the beaten path but still a convient walk to the West End and West Bay Keifitos is worth checking out. It sits up on a hill overlooking the ocean with about 5 or 6 cabins and 2 new buildings each with 2 large... more
