Absoleutely horrible. This place is an insult to Spanish cuisine, as well as to the great city of Boston! My fiancé is from Spain so she knows what the food is supposed to taste like and this isn't it. The mussels that we ordered were in a can! and they tasted like they were in vinegar and water…disgusting! The veggies... more

packed crowd. loud room. tapas food was yummy. not worth the steep price but that may be a Boston thang called Restaurant week. had a couple watermelon martinis that were quite refreshing. i used to live across the street from this spot before the neighborhood got a facelift. would go back again for drinks or happy hour nibbles. more

The service was also good, and we sat in... more

I am a big fan - and a bit of a regular of Toro. It is deep in the South End, and difficult to get to by public transportation, but well worth the drive, walk or cab ride. Can't miss items: (Well, just about everything, but my personal favorites are...) Maiz Asado - a really rich grilled version of the... more
