How rough is the ocean?

Are there alot of kids? (we are bringing our 6 year old daughter)

What resturants did you like best?

How was the entertainment?

How was the drinks?

Were there alot of skeeters?

There is construction on the Bavaro side mid resort up to the lobby...and there is construction on the front of the Punta cana lobby...

I believe it was your post on which ala cartes I answered...

The ocean was mostly calm..a few choppy days..nothing an adult or a six year old who can swim couldnt handle...keep in mind when you hit the beach..you dont have to swim directing in front..the beaches stretches a fair distance to the left and right...and is nicer and less crowded if you walk a little...beware swimming beyond the lines as boats do come in my mind way to close to swimmers..

There are a lot of children...but keep in mind most of the travellers in the summer months are spanish speaking..your daughter will have no trouble finding friends to play with

I didnt see a single mosquito..never used repellent and not a bite..if you venture on any excursions..be sure to use it..especially the jungle tour

Hi lbarrett,

I talked to the Royal Golden Rep and he said the lobby entrance construction should be completed this week. Hope you had a good vacation.

it was hot and sunny with occasional cloudy brief periods...I welcomed the intermittent clouds as the full sun was really intense

Keep in mind that 5 star carribean is not 5 star north american...I would say the food was average..the pizza at the buffet was actually very good more like a flat bread..you wont go hungry as you will find something you like...the breakfast buffet was nice and you can get made to order omelette... Where you will see a big difference is the meat...I did have a nice (they called it tenderloin of beef) at Le Grill...they try very hard and the presentation is great

If I can add my 2 cents! I thought the Mexican a-la-carte was fantastic, and you can't go wrong with the fruit smoothies for breakfast!

The overall food experience has improved at the Bahia PC. It had been almost 2 years between our first and second visit and we noticed a dramatic improvement.
