Good Morning All!

I'm here in St. Louis Missouri and we are having unseasonably COOL weather for this time of year.

Right now the temp is 66 degrees. Today the high is supposed to be 79 with a low of 60! Usually, it's sooo hot and humid it's like putting your head in an oven when you walk outside!

Anyone else experiencing unseasonable weather and do you think this effects hurricane season? Ya know, cooler water temps?

Just a thought!

Best wishes to you all this beautiful Independence Day! Stay safe and free.

Dana

We are having cooler temps and a lot more rain this year as well. We have had some terrible storms already this summer, too. My air conditioner is longing to run:)

Watched the Peach Tree Road Race this am and those people were so tired and hot at 8:00.am. Hope to see some rain soon, but NOT July 11th - 18th in PDC!! I'm on my way out to the pool :) Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!

roostergirl - I also live in the St Louis area and I was just commenting to my husband about how cool it is today. I just can't get over how cool it has been and how much rain we have been getting. I have not had to water my plants once this season. Last night I went out for drinks with some friends and wore jeans! That was a new first. I have never wore jeans in July before!

the weather here is just strange...NOT THAT I"M COMPLAINING. My a/c is set on 78...a first in the 6 years we've lived in this house.

Last night, I was a bit chilly. I know that sounds crazy but it's just so unusual. I'm not getting in our pool today...brrr! It's 1:30 and still only 75 degrees.

By the way, the rain....we have a lot of flooding here in Missouri...so sad really. And to think last year we were complaining that everything was burning up from the heat.

Still hope it keeps the hurricanes away....we'll be in PDC in Oct.

I gotta get off this computer and get cleanin ya'll. Talk at ya later!

Well TS Bertha is forming in the Eastern Atlantic and some predictors expect it to become a hurricane. Altho it is far to early to accurately state it will likely be east of the U.S.
