As far as the construction at the Homewood, the staff at the hotel would be the most knowledgeable source for this type of information, especially since they know what work is "coming up" during the time of your stay. JUst call and ask. (If you feel that you wouldn't get an honest answer from a hotel employee about the construction, then that would be reason enough not to stay there -- who would want to be treated so disrespectfully?).

I can't help with the hotels, but I have ordered tickets from Get Away Today. It was super easy and they arrived quickly. I haven't used them for booking a whole trip as it's very easy for us to just book it all separately, but I wouldn't have a problem booking with them as I have had a pleasant experience with them in the past. I have also read on other fourms plenty of people having a good experience with them.

The Disneyland Hotels are not just located in Anaheim, there is a group of Hotels near the corner of Harbor and Chapman that also call themselves as part of the Disneyland area. Such is the case with Homewood, and you can find its reviews in the Garden Grove, CA reviews, since its actual address is located in Garden Grove. Here is the direct link to their reviews...
