Anaheim Hotels with FREE Parking |
|
Park Plaza Inn & Mini Suites always gets good reviews, and so does Candy Cane Inn. I'm not sure about the free parking however as hotels keep finding ways to nickel and dime us to death.

joesource,i think you meant park place inn and mini suites. they do have free parking.but no large suites. have stayed there many times its a good clean motel but it sounds like you are looking for something with more amenities offered. the only one i know of for sure is the howard johnsons, they do have suites and no parking fee, but there is a charge for the shuttle to disneyland, you can walk, but i found it too far for me to make it comfortably. most hotels charge a shuttle fee, except for some very close to disneyland.

While HoJo's is a true Hotel and offers Free Parking and Free Internet access, it is a limited service Hotel. (IMHO, A Hotel is one with interior hallways and that the parking is not in the middle of the property, but away from the rooms. A Motel is usually a 2 or 3 story property with parking very near the room, usually with cars in front of the doors on the first floor and that the vast majority of Motels have outdoor corridors. Also Motels have limited services. By that I mean, no restaurant on property and no room service. Mimi's Restaurant is right next door, and there is a nicely stocked Gift Shop in Tower 1. Also no Bell Services, though they do provide luggage carts that you can borrow and use to take your suitcases to your room, so long as you return it so others can also use them. (They do have a luggage storage area if you need to place your bags into storage before or after you check in/out). All the Deluxe Rooms now have the upscale Heavenly Beds and a Microwave and mini-fridge. The grounds are very nice as are the pool/water play areas. It is one of my favorite properties in the area, but if Room Service is important to you, then you will need to look at other places. And I can't think of any of the more upscale Hotels with free parking in the area, $10 to $15 a day is the average.

Thanks for all of the replies. :0) I have done much traveling for business and really like the upscale hotels (yes, even though you don't spend much time in the room)....I don't really need a Bell Hop or Room Service, just like the fluffy beds, pretty rooms, marble counter tops, friendly staff, nice decor, etc... I noticed the Staybridge has 2 bedroom suites and I think FREE parking??? I wasn't sure if there were any other Hotels around that I was missing. Even the Doubletree in OC...which is a few miles away from DL charges for parking too.
