Bump - any info anyone has on this hotel would be much appreciated

We stayed at LTI Grand Azur last Sept and it is owned by Tropicana and it is in Nabq Bay.

Reviews for LTI are a bit patchy but all in all we found it a really nice, well run hotel. We are returning to Sharm this Sept for our honeymoon and have booked Holiday Village for a change (it is next door to LTI and we had a nose and liked what we saw)!

Thank you - I was a bit worried when I saw the reviews for the LTI as I know it's right next door to the one we are going to.

Is Nabq bay a nice area? I understand it's quite quiet, but thats what we want for most of the holiday. If we do want to go into Naama bay, is it easily accessible?

Yes me and my bfriend have booked to stay at tropicana club azure 8-22nd may. Im quite worried as they still havent got any pictures!

I know it's not due to open until March, so that could be why there are no pics as yet. Be sure to post a trip report though when you are back!! I've never booked a brand new hotel before, but I'm hoping it will be lovely - fingers crossed.

It was quiet when we were there but apparently since we were there there is an area over the road that has been developed with shops and restaurants etc. I belive I have read on previous posts / reviews of LTI Grand Azur that there is an English pub? Dont quote me on that though!

Namma Bay is only 20mins in a cab and most hotels offer a shuttle bus that you can book.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any other q's!

We wanted a quiet holiday but to still be close to a main resort so hopefully it will be just about right. I've read that in Nabq bay you will hear airport noise - is this the case?

It wont bother us too much as long as its not all day everyday that you hear it!!

Look at the Sharm video section and you will see my short video of a plane taking off over the Holiday village.The planes seem to go off over the sea when they reach the Coral Sea hotel so I dont think it will be as bad at the Club Azure.The flight path changes during the summer month as some people there last summer reported no aircraft noise.

Thanks for the video clip - it doesnt look too bad, we have stayed in Zante before right under the flight path from the airport & after a couple of days it didnt bother us, so hopefully this will be much the same.

I'm very confused as well about our hotel (it doesnt take much to confuse me :-)!!) - in the Thomson book its advertised as brand spanking new, and the only pictures are artists impressions.

However, the video they have posted on their website is of the Tropicana/LTI GRAND Azure and it shows people swimming in the pool, sunbathing etc - we have booked Tropicana CLUB Azure - are these 2 hotels 1 & the same, or are they sister properties??

I cant find out anywhere, even from Thomson!
