Would definitely stay here again

We booked this hotel because of it’s location to Disneyland; we wanted to stay somewhere that we could easily walk to after a long day. Not only is this hotel directly across from the park entrance, it was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We opted out of the "free breakfast" as it was just a continental style, but other than that we loved the hotel.

The price for off season, Friday night was a little high, but well worth it for the location, convenience and cleanliness of the hotel.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The Hotel was better than expected, the room was immaculate, well decorated, the landscaping was beautiful and you could not beat the location to Disneyland. Will go back in a heartbeat.

Disneyland convenient

Directly across the street from the Disneyland parking lot so very easy if that is your destination. We were in town for a convention across town. Did not receive the type of room that was reserved and they were going to charge us for a second car but were able to negotiate. The pool was closed but they provided a pool at a nearby facility (bit inconvenient so we didn’t use it!) and the continental breakfast is provided upstairs at the restaurant next to the hotel. For Disneyland convenience...it would be great!! Not for much else.

great location and comfortable

great place to stay, was our 2nd visit. requested same room. great a/c, 2 bed suite has extra couch that’s a hideaway. perfect for kids, from doorway of south facing rooms can look right up the main disneyland entrance, just cross the street and you are walking into disneyland. continental b-fast is better than most. felt like this hotel was a great value for our family vacation.

Conveniently located across Disneyland

We had a good stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn & Mini Suites. The room had all the basic amenities (including free parking) and was maintained well. The best part about this hotel is that it is across the street from Disneyland. We found that to be extremely convenient and useful (no need to drive around, park, load & unload the car, etc..)

There are a few restaurants around the hotel - you can eat there before entering and after exiting Disneyland. You’ll get better variety and more affordable prices.

Good economic place to stay for Disneyland, Unmatched location hands down.

This is a good place to stay for your Disneyland vacation. It has by far the BEST location of any other hotel in the area, you only need to cross the street to get to the parks. You will enjoy the stay if you set your expectations right. Remember that this is an Inn and not a resort. So, you will get a clean and spacious room but don’t expect a view. There is a pool, but don’t expect to do laps or have a small water park. You will get breakfast, but don’t expect a full fledged buffet of goodies ... you get the idea. The service desk was really helpful even though they really mean it when they say check in is 3:00pm, especially in the busy season. There is a local car rental company that has a desk inside the lobby which makes life very easy if you want to get a car. The hotel sells tickets for the parks at a discount if you need them and they have abundant information about other things to do in the area. We got the two double bed room which was very adequate for us and our two kids (8 and 5 yrs). There are coin laundry machines on the premise but you have to really go when they open to be able to use them. The room was fine with no problems. The building looks like your standard bestwestern neighborhood inn off the highway in your area, nothing fancy. All in all, it does the job and more. Will go there again.

Ask the front desk about taking a day to sea world. There is a company that arranges for your transportation for no more than the price of the tickets at the gate (i.e., you get a free ride!) This is a good break if you have more than 3 or 4 days in the area.

room service

We arrived at hotel early, upon a request of early check in. Front desk workers, were trying hard to get rooms cleared for many customers. We waited 2 1/2 hours for our room. In the meantime, other people arriving after us, were getting their rooms before we did. We had a suite, as other people whom were waiting, and we got our rooms after 3:30pm, with check-in at 3:00pm. We could see the frustration on the front desk workers when they were trying to call room service to see if our room was ready. Other than that, we were satisfied with the room and the convenience of our vacation plans.

Clean and Comfortable

Clean pool, sheets, bathroom, and spa. Comfortable bed. What more do you need when you will be at Disneyland all day.

If you get a chance, check out the new Garden View shopping center on Katella. It is so close! They have a new theater and bowling alley if you have some down time.

The hotel is very convenient to Disneyland, being directly across from the entrance, but the room was old and shabby.

We liked the fact that this hotel is right accross the street from the main gate at disney. Friendly staff...nice clean pool. We will probably return to this hotel

this hotel is smack right in front of Disney. about a 5 min. walk. this hotel is even closer than the disney resort hotel. free breakfast, free internet, free parking, free use of printer, Mcdonalds 2 blocks away to the left and Dennys to the right and Ihop. best location. friendly staff.

stay for about 3 days park hopper, fireworks every night at 9:25 pm, they allow water and food inside the park. knotts berry farm about 5-10 min drive and Universal about 45 min.there is a car rental office inside the hotel.use John Wayne airport (SNA) nearest to Disney.Walmart at the Euclid exit about 5 min away from the hotel.buy 24 pack water and store in hotel fridge.

Great place for Disneyland trip!

The room was large enough for my family of 6 without feeling like we were all over each other. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our daughter got sick one night and the maid came and cleaned it up pretty cheerfully. Great hotel. The pool isn’t great, but who goes to Disneyland for the pool?

Very nice

This is a nice reasonably priced suite hotel that includes a frig & microwave, which come in handy. The room is spacious and comfortable. It’s right across the street from Disneyland and you can’t beat that.

Very nice for the Price

I booked this hotel based off the reviews on this site. I was not let down. I was very happy overall with the service and quality of this hotel. We stayed in one of their mini suite’s with there being 2 adults and 4 kids in our group and we slept well. The A/C was ice cold and was very welcoming apon our return for lunch and breaks from the heat. We would leave in mornings to go the Disney Land park/California Adventure, which is literaly a 5 minute walk if that from the hotel and return in the afternoon to relax and cool down. The free contential breakfast was nice at Capt’Kids, saved us about $45 a day. We will stay there again when we go back.

If you are taking a good size group and are planning to hit all the parks(Disney,Calif. Adven, Sea world and Universal studios) like we did, check out the City Pass. Gives you all the above and more. Saved our group alot of money versus buying tickets at each park. The front desk at this hotel has them.

Would stay again

Hotel was great for what we were there for. The water pressure was good considering other hotels that we have stayed at the water pressure was terrible. We had no problems with our room and when we would return our room was always cleaned. We saw alot of people walking up Harbor to get to the lights to cross over to Disneyland but the crossing was right in front of the hotel. Would stay there again.

The rooms have a refrigerator so bring bottle water you will need it. Take advantage of the continental breakfast next door. Prepare for a walk to the entrance once you cross the street to disney. Buy your kids the disney water fan, everybody can benefit from it.

Great Location for Disney Vacation

This hotel is the closet to the entrance of Disney. It is right across from the crosswalk, a 5 minute walk without kids. The rooms were nice and clean, and airconditioning was a must since it was over 100 every day the week we were there. The only thing I did not like is the fact that when you reserve a room, it is not guarantee’d that you get non-smoking~ adjoining~the type of beds, etc. I reserved a room with 2 double beds, and when we got there~ one bed was a fold out couch. The kids slept on it, so they didnt mind too much, but I would not want to sleep on it. Also great to have a microwave and refridgerator. Continental breakfast was basic, cereal, fruit, donuts, coffee, juice, but saved alot of time and money. There is a McDonalds real close by which is convenient so you can leave Disney and have lunch, dinner, then go back to the park. There is also a Subway, 7 Eleven, ABC store, about a 10 minute walk away. Overall, yes I would reccomend this hotel as a great place to stay when visiting Disneyland.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Shop for food and keep it in the refridgerator at the hotel, rather than eat out all the time. It was nice to get back to the hotel and have food in the room to eat, not to mention relaxing and cool.

Literally Across the Street!

My family and I, along with friends, have now stayed at this hotel twice. The crosswalk to Disneyland is literally out front with no obstructions. Beds were comfy, not springy, pillows fluffy, not flat. Fridge and microwave are definitely a plus. A/C worked well. Rooms are relatively large, plenty of play space for my two children when not visiting the park.

Pay close attention to other facilities that state "across the street from Disneyland." It may not be as close as implied. Breakfast with the characters is great for families with children wanting autographs. Take bottled water with you! We liked to freeze a small bottle or two each night in our hotel room.

Great Service!

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. We were very pleased with the service especially this 2nd time around. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff was extremely nice and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were always prompt with our requests. It may not be a 5 star hotel but we enjoyed ourselves, the rooms were very clean and smelled very clean and most importantly the staff was outstanding! The location is wonderful and convenient ...directly across from Disneyland and restaurants within walking distance.

The perfect place to stay

We were very impressed with this hotel. They let us check in early because my husband wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. Plus, they were right across the street from Disneyland - only a five-minute walk. We will definately stay there again when we bring our son to Disneyland for the first time.

Unpleasant surprizes

The location of this hotel was right on. Right at the cross walk to Disneyland. Hotel service was unfriendly though. The hot breakfast meal is misguiding. The toast and donuts were served under a hot light but they were often stale and cold. It was an inconvienence because the hotel was pressure washing the first floor on the side where our room were and we had to walk around the hotel to either walk down the stairs or use the elevator. If we knew in advance that it was going to happen, we would have chosen a different hotel. Also, because they were doing pressure washing, there were no vending machines. And another thing, we had trouble with our keys, often not getting into our room which was a real inconvienence, on top of hotel personel not appologizing for the inconvienence.

If you’re looking to find a room for a family of 6, this hotel suite is good. The suites are spacious and the sofa is a fold out bed. So you’re able to sleep 6 people.

Not impressed

Not impressed with the customer service at this hotel. This hotel does not keep track of the number of room keys given, so get the name of staff when you check out. Hotel wanted to charge us an extra night after check out for leaving items in room and they did not know if all room keys were given back. In conversation with manager we confirmed reservation was only for two people and we gave two room keys back at check out. Manager did not listen and hung up the phone while I was still talking. I would not recomend this hotel.
