Animation Team was excellent. I loved every single one of them. They work from 10 in the morning to 1 or 2 in the evening. They take care of you all the time. There is Walter ... probably the most funny guy... Nina... Teresa...Blaky...Jesus...Sandy... and others... they make you laugh all the time... so if you have nothing to do go on the beach or pool and spend every possible second with them...

My wife and I just returned from a quick 5-day stay at the Majestic to celebrate our 40th birthdays and we loved it. I had read some of the negative comments prior to leaving and upon our return but I guess in some ways it's what you make of it.

From the moment we got there, the staff was extremely accomodating. Not everyone speaks English but it was fun to try and remember a lot of what I had forgotten from year's past. I also found that the staff appreciated if I at least tried and ended up having very few language barriers. Yecy, Franklin and Janet all did a fantastic job at the front desk.

We also worked with AnneMarie at the concierge desk. She is great. I would recommend getting with her early in the trip to make reservations for the French and Japanese restaurants shortly after you arrive if you had planned on going. The seating is limited and the Japanese restaurant is a great way to meet people. We were able to make some friends that we were able to spend a majority of the next few days with.

The room itself was very nice complete with a bottle of champagne and flower petals on the jacuzzi. The bathroom door was semi-private glass that was not full length, but that was easy to get used to. I stay in a lot of hotels for business and can honestly say that I was pleased and it works well for a nice romantic getaway. Our room did back up to the construction of a new Majestic site, but that was not really a bother for us. We were rarely in the room and when we were, we still only had to take two steps off of the patio to see the ocean.

The pool is beautiful but all of our time was spent at the beach. If you haven't read it already, Denny is fantastic. I knew about him before I arrived and the fortuitous timing allowed me to introduce myself and give him my location on the first day after only 30 seconds. He knew where to find me every day. I even starting a Denny Fan Club - he is just that good. Dionisia also did a nice job at the Beach Bar as did the people working the restaurant.

The Animation Team was a lot of fun. Whether I was dancing with Ivelisse or joking around with Walther, Danny, Tereza, Leo, Melvin, Nina or many others, they know how to have a good time and will make sure you will do the same if you can let your hair down a bit.

I made an effort to introduce myself to as many of the workers there as I could and it made a big difference for my wife and me. I am sure they are always accomodating but by the end of the visit, we were greeted most everywhere we went with big smiles, handshakes, high fives and some laughs. They are glad you are there and want to be sure you have a great time.

The hotel itself is worth going for its incredible, the food was of so many varities. The staff made you feel like you were really on vacation, they would sit and talk with you dance with you and really make you feel comfortable. There was a party every night. The day i left i had tears coming out of my eyes. This was the best vacation i had thus far.

This is the best place in the world. The staff was my favorite. They are like friends now. The hotel is very beautiful and everything was excelent.

We traveled to the MC with a group of 12. Six adults and six kids from ages 8-12. We were there the first week of July. Weather was perfect the whole week.

Check-in was a breeze. We were in building 3. Annemarie made our rservations for dinner and then personally took us to our room. The place is just beautiful. Rooms were great. We needed maintenance once to fix our safe. They were there in 5 minutes and fixed it no problem.

Our first morning we had a meeting with our tour rep. It was sooo helpful. She gave us tips on what to see and do. One BIG tip- don't drink more than 2 drinks with coconut oil. She said our systems aren't used to it. We followed that tip. She also told us where to shop. The plaza right outside the MC was really good. Bargain!! We paid 30% of asking price.

We also scheduled two excursions : Caribbean Festival and ATVs. Both were awesome. They were half day trips - perfect for kids.

We need to send a BIG thank you to Frances Jose Sosa at the outdoor bar. He was just awesome. We visited him every night. Always had a big smile for us- and a mama Juana. Mossimo at the downstairs lobby bar was just as great and really had the best drinks. We miss them both. Hi from Pennsylvania guys. Joe is still recovering from his Birthday!!

Go see the Jamaican guy on Saturday and Tuesday night in the downstairs lobby. He does Karaoke. Funniest guy. Loved him.

Kids Club- Angelica is the best!! We thought our kids may be too old for the kids club but she tailored it to their needs. She took them to the game room and played pool, chess and foosball with them. When they were done she walked them to the beach to us. She was so friendly and nice. We were sorry to miss her when we left. It was her day off .

Angelica - Justin, Joey, Jake, Brandon, Nick and Jessica say hello. They had a wonderful time with you. You are the BEST!! We are hanging up the group photo of you all.

Food - was pretty good. No we didn't like everything but we never went hungry. Try all the restaurants- they were good. Steakhouse and Japanese were our favorites. Breakfast had a lot of choices. You will find something. My picky 8 year old even survived- he just ate a lot of pasta and fries.

Beach was awesome. White sand and beautiful color ocean. The one thing I do wish they had is a bar on the beach. I didn't mind walking to the beach bar but I think one directly on the beach would make this resort perfect.

All the adults in our group had a little bit of tummy trouble by the end of the trip but nothing major. I do not blame the resort for this. I think we just overindulged a little bit. All the kids were fine. Just take immodium - works wonders.

I would recomend this resort. It's beautiful, clean and very friendly staff. I was nervous about the reviews before we left. Don't be - go and have a great time. We did.

Oh - and take lots of pictures. It's all you have left when you come home. I keep looking at them wishing I could go back.
