Not a bad place for the price. We stayed there on the day of our arrival and the day of our departure from Mexico because it was near the airport (we spent the week in between 150 miles down the coast). Rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, with a few signs of wear. Both of our rooms had nice balconies and the showers were quite luxurious. The hallways have tile flooring, so noise tends to resonate pretty loudly. The lobby and the grounds are lovely. WARNING: Avoid the hotel's "La Palapa" restaurant at all costs!!!! Not only was our meal grossly overpriced, but the food was horrible (our 19-year old son who hadn't eaten all day wouldn't even finish a hamburger!) and a bad piece of meat gave me a case of food poisoning that had me running to the bathroom for 2 days. Being a frequent visitor to Mexico, I am well versed in the do's and don'ts of eating there and this was no common case of "La Touristas". A hotel employee overheard my wife telling the manager at the front desk that I had become ill after eating there and asked her "was it meat?" which led us to believe that perhaps this was not the first such problem they'd had there.
