Very comfortable B&B. The hosts were most gracious. The grounds and gardens were impressive. Breakfast was a treat.

The Britaly is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Through their careful attention to detail, scrumptous breakfasts, and outstanding hospitality, hosts Graham and Aldo have perfected the art of B&B ownership. This was our second stay at the Britaly but is not inteneded to be our last. On both occassions we joined close friends there and felt that our ability to enjoy each other's company was enhanced by the comfort and convenience the Britaly provides. Graham and Aldo have an outstanding knowledge of the area and a deep appreciation for the arts that they willingly share in a participatory yet unobtrusive manner. And lest I forget to mention, we like Graham and Aldo very much!

We were expecting a comfortable place based on our friends staying there 3 years ago. Instead we found a place from heaven!. The property is elegantly decorated, spotless and the garden outside transformed us to a different, tranquil place. The owners Graham and Aldo were very hospitable, accomodating and absolutley fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, every day was a surprise and the best of all their kindness on the 4th of JUly, playing our song and decorating the table with red and blue and the American flag ( the 6 of us were from the states). Rufus is the most genteele, well behaved dog I have ever seen, I do not like dogs normally, but he made great efforts to be kind and quit. I just loved him. We felt that Graham and Aldo and Rufus are part of our family. We Highly recommend the stay at Britley Bed and Breakfast.

We stayed at Britaly for the first time in 2005 with another couple from Pittsburgh, PA. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hospitality, very pleasant setting in the garden, the tastefulness of the furnishings and decorations not only in the rooms, but the entire house. Their attention to detail and their consideration of the guests was unique and presented itself in the "multi-course" breakfast service. This year, when we decided to make a second visit to the Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake, Britaly was the place for us to think about. We even suggested it to another couple from Ohio who was joining us on our vacation. Yet, we wondered if we were going to find it the same way we remembered it by, or it'd have changed below our expectation. Fortunately for us, it has not. The same superb hospitality and service awaited us, with the very engaging conversation and sumptuous breakfast served punctually at 8:45 AM, and according to the menu left on the bed the night before with the "Good-Night" chocolates. Our second stay was just as memorable as the first. At one point, we and our friends had taken the entire house over for three days, and then two thirds of it for another two. The hosts have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests for advice with restaurant recommendations, or even making a cooler available for us for a group picnic we planned. Their recommendations were always on the mark. Rufus, the house pet, was just as welcoming and gracious in treating the house guests without being in anyone's way. We do not believe that we could have had a better place to stay in the Niagara Falls area. We think that our friends who stayed with us at Britaly at the same time found it exactly the same way we did.
