“Look no further for your Sydney stay”

Swissotel Sydney

If you're looking for a comfortable, central hotel then look no further. Our room was well proportioned and clean, staff went out of their way to help us and our three year old daughter. Slap bang in the middle of everything tourist wise, it's about a ten minute stroll from Circular Quay and five minutes from Darling Harbour.

Can't recommend this enough!!

I stayed here on my final day in Sydney prior to a long haul flight back home. Really nice hotel, with great facilities if needed. Also perfect location for access to shops in the cbd as right in the heart of the shopping area, and only a couple of minutes walk to the bars and restaurants at the harbour.

Recommended.

“Very central location, book an executive room, just that little bit more special”

Swissotel Sydney

Having stayed at other Sydney hotels, the Swissotel compares favourably for its CBD location and nearby transport and shops. We booked an executive room, requesting one overlooking the AMP/Sydney Tower and got it! Not too impressed with the street access with two sets of lifts but once inside, the spacious rooms were in excellent decorative order and had a modern bathroom with a large walk in shower as well as a bath. The executive rooms are on higher floors and include free local calls, internet, newspapers etc and access to the Executive Club lounge where a more intimate and scenic breakfast is served. Between 5.30 and 7.30pm complimentary canapes and self service soft drinks and premium brand alcohol are on offer, my husband thought he was in heaven!

The downside was that on changing foreign currency, we were offered an incredibly poor rate (half that expected) as the reception staff did not appear to understand the conversion rate. There are a number of banks close by however that offer a much better rate. Also on checkout the man was bordering rude, but this was the exception rather than the rule.

This is a really good hotel in a fantastic location, five minutes walk to Darling Harbour, right in the middle of the shopping areas and a few minutes to the monorail.
Hotel clean and comfortable. We had access to the executive lounge which was well worth the extra. Nice nibbles and free drinks for a couple of hours each evening and good breakfast. Staff working in the lounge were so polite and helpful. Would stay here again.

This was not our first time to Sydney, but it was our first time at this hotel. We had high expectation for this hotel (for the money we paid) and all expectations were certainly met!! We stayed on the executive club floor and had access to the lounge every day. The hotel was clean, in a great location and all staff we very friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would glady return!!
