I stayed here for 10 nights in December and found the hotel to be excellent. The staff at reception were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.

Paddington reminded me a little of Notting Hill, London, with plenty of cool bars and boutique shops. Personally I found staying out of the centre refreshing and thought I saw more of the 'real Sydney'.

The best thing about the hotel was the free muffins and fruit provided every day at reception. The free DVD rental and Internet access was also a bonus.

My only grumble would be that the swimming pool was freezing (though the weather wasn't great while we were there).

Great location for exploring Sydney and surrounding area - very convenient to buses and great for walking - easy & quick access to town, ferries and Bondi and other southern beaches in the other direction.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the free internet access as well as the laundry facilities.

Rooms were simple and clean - more than adequate for our use - we were not spending the day in the room while in Sydney.

We appreciated the pool after a hot day of exploring Sydney.

We stayed 2 nights at Sullivans on a precruise visit to Sydney. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. There is a bus stop just a block up and the public transportation into the CBD is very good. The continental breakfast is $14.90. It was a bit of a surprise since we get it free usually in the USA. We would stay there again.

Very clean room with small but perfectly adequate ensuite shower room. The hotel has the advantage of having a small outdoor pool, being within walking distance of the city and being on the bus route to Bondi (30 min journey).

The breakfast room is light and airy and a good selection is provided for AUS$14 per person.

As well as internet access the hotel has a laundry room.
