This is the third time that we have stayed at these apartments and they have the absolute BEST view of Sydney. The apartment that we stayed in had been upgraded to a much better arrangement with wooden floors,and a superb kitchen and bathroom. The staff could not have been more helpful. We would not stay anywhere else

The apartments are older, but are renovated to a 3 star standard.
Clean rooms, small bathroom in the one bedroom harbour view room. No air con but you can open the windows. Good kitchen and dining table.

Would be a great place to stay for NYE celebrations on the harbour. Good transport with regular ferry and bus services as well as free car parking. Outdoor pool and BBQ area are nice, not quite resort but a good outdoor area.

Would recommend this property for short stays if you are not looking for a hotel stay.

We cancelled a booking that we had at another apartment hotel after reading bad reviews on Trip Advisor. We then chose Harbourside Apartments from a Sydney Hotel website and checked Trip Advisor for reviews before confirming. If it is a view of Sydney Harbour that you are looking for, these apartments are for you! We booked into a 2 bed apartment and had panoramic views of the whole of Sydney Harbour. The view of the Bridge and Opera House were second to none. The apartment itself was adequate, although this was the middle of Winter in Australia and the heating is individual plug in radiators which were not switched on prior to our arrival. The ferry stops 50 metres from the hotel door so you can get easily to Darling Harbour and Circular Quay without ever getting into a taxi or bus. The hotel provides a packed breakfast which is pretty mediocre, so you really need to make use of the supermarket facilities nearby, or go for breakfast in one of the cafes a short walk away. Darling Harbour has all kinds of restaurants, but all outside, so be prepared to be cold if you go in the winter.

Having never been to Sydney before we were worried about the "non city" location - there was absolutely no need to be worried! The hotel is so close to the water and the views were brilliant - the Opera House & Harbour Bridge are literally in your face. We jumped on ferry into the city and then came back to the peace and quiet of the hotel. You have to walk up a few stairs to the closest shop but other than that - no complaints.
