What a great surprise we came upon. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little worried of what I would find at the Conte Hotel. Well, let me start by saying that we had a great room with an amazing view of Avenida 9 de Julio and the Obelisk. House keeping was amazing! I had things laundered at the hotel expecting it to be ready the following day. Sure enough when I would return from my daily excursions, my laundry would be all set and ready the same day. The concierge was extremely helpful and spoke English. My husband and I had a most comfortable stay, at times not wanting to leave the hotel room. We made it to their modest continental breakfast which consisted of rolls, cereals, some pastries, fresh fruit, cold cuts, coffee, teas and juices. Personnel at the Conte Hotel are very courteous, pleasant and attentive. This hotel is not a fancy, hauty-tauty hotel but for the price, you cannot find better in the micro-centre area.
