“Beautiful room in the middle of nowhere”

We had a lovely 2-bed room on the 10th floor, overlooking the Fox Studios. The beds, look to be narrower than a regular queen-sized bed. I had called in advance to request a baby crib, but it was not there upon arrival. However, when the crib did come, it came with a very nice set of Simple baby products.

The beds, while small, were comfortable. And there was an iHome and a Kreug coffee machine. The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower, and Elemis toiletries.

We were 3 adults but the room seemed to be set up for 2 people as there were 2 sets of everything (cups, glasses, towels, etc). There was only 1 pair of room slippers, I had to call for more.

The complimentary town car consisted of 1 Mercedes S-class limo. Our longest wait was 30 mins, shortest was immediate. It is allowed to bring you anywhere within a 1.5-mile distance of the hotel.

The lobby was quiet and peaceful, which I appreciate.

The staff were polite but I won't consider them friendly. Valet parking was $30 per day, and they charged me an extra day, which they quickly took back when I pointed out their mistake. They also charged me for internet access which I didn't use and an extra orange juice for breakfast, all of which were taken back with no questions asked, as soon as I pointed it out to them.

All in all, I had a pleasant stay.

“Great business hotel”

I stayed at the InterContinental during a conference in late April. I was impressed with all aspects of the service from the reception (courteous and prompt), valet parking (extremely fast and helpful), concierge (very helpful) and housekeeping (thorough and unobtrusive). The restaurant was very good but service could be a bit spotty,

The conference was at the nearby Hyatt. By the comments I received from my colleauges, the Intercontinental was definitely the better option.

Thelocation allowed for easy access (by car) to the Beach (Santa Monica and Malibu), Beverley Hills, Mullholland and even Hollywood.

The shopping mall at Avenue of the Stars and Santa Monica was also really handy for last minute gifts.

I had a jog around the nearby golf course and thought that the area surrounding the course was really nice.

Got an amazing price on hotwire for this hotel in century city. Beds and Pillows amazingly comfy. Gym not too overcrowded and really nice for hotel gym. Pool has these great cabanas - the only complaint was that it was a bit crowded. Wished I had time to go to the spa but was out and about too much.

Really nice location and although valet always expensive in LA - you pay per day so can come and go as you please.

Would definately stay here again!

“Pure Luxury”

InterContinental Los Angeles Century City

May 11, 2008

Stayed for two nights May2/3 in luxury suite on 11th floor, very good weekend rate.Excellent views from 3 Balcony's

Very comfortable Bed and flat screen TV in bedroom, nice bathroom and large shower facilty, robes etc and in room safe

Lounge had large Flat screen HD TV, had fox soccer channel, so was happy on early saturday morning watching Premiership soccer.

Westfield shopping centre is only a 10 minute stroll, a car is needed for further afield , Santa Monica about 20 -30 mins away depending on traffic and valet was quick in delivering the car.

Room Service food was decent standard, although always better to eat out,

Savanah's at Westfield shopping had a very good happy hour until 7pm on the Friday, certain items drinks/bar food $5 each

“Amazing stay at this hotel!”

InterContinental Los Angeles Century City

May 9, 2008

Amazing hotel and service! Definitely a place I would return to with or without priceline! The service from the moment I arrived was helpful and very professional. The lobby was an amazingly elegant view with great views of the restaurant and bar. Once I got to my room , the view was amazing. Couches and room was amazing, beautiful decor beds were great! Furnishings and bathroom was very high end and felt just like home! Great large screen plasma screens in both bedroom and living room!
