Well I booked this room thinking that it would be nice. The pool was very small, and the hot tub was warm not hot. The rooms needed to be updated. The shower didnt drain. And dont forget the parking you have to pay for. But the best thing was the beds were comfortable but small.
Overall I wasnt impressed at all.

Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Seemed closer to a 4 star hotel.
It was lovely and the employees were very friendly. They even let me use a loaner crip for my 2 yr old and check out late. Beautiful atrium lobby that goes up 11 stories with a restaurant, billiards room, indoor pool and hottub. My room was a double with plenty of room. There was a TV in the bedroom and another TV in the "living room" by the couch, coffee table, and desk. The bathroom was huge!
Good for families or I suppose business people as the living room area is separate from the bedroom so you can hide away all your clutter.

When I arrived at the Prava, I noticed what appeared to be a vagrant “bag lady” chatting with one of the hotel’s bellmen. It alarmed me a little because I was bringing my two little children with me. The hotel itself is in need of some renovation. The phone in our suite did not work at all (also very alarming) and the hallways to and from the rooms were very hot! The air-conditioning in our room was not working properly – it clattered all night and never cooled the room off.

The absolute last straw was as I was checking out of the hotel; one piece of my luggage was stolen right at the FRONT DESK. I reported it to the clerk as soon as I noticed it was missing (less than an hour), but nothing could be / or would be done about it. The hotel manager even went as far as to say “it wasn’t a BIG loss.” I found this very insulting, as the luggage contained a very expensive portable DVD player. I know that the hotel is NOT RESPONSISBLE for loss or theft, but they are responsible for having questionable people “just hanging out” in their lobby and parking lot.

I feel the hotel is unsafe for vacationers, especially those with children! I will not ever stay there again.

The Prava is behind the Galleria along the North Dallas Tollway at 635. There is currently a major construction site in front of the property. I heard no construction noise during my stay. I was there for a week while I worked close by on Beltline. IT's better than most extended stay properties in the area. The galleria is across the street if you are into that.

I remember staying here when it was the Hilton Suites. Little has changed except the signage.

The suite was nice size and comfy with stone vanity in the large bath. The drain in the tub was slow. Housekeeping was marginal but the room was fairly clean.

The complimentary wireless internet access was sporadic.

To sum up it was satisfactory for my needs. I'd stay again, but navigating the surface streets of north Dallas is terribly slow.
