great location and grounds, probably the best beach on this end of the Island. However beware of where the give you a room. Buildings 1 &2 are renovated and great. Buildings 3 & 4 are old and building 4 is undergoing renovations on the first couple of floors now. Stay away from building 6 unless all you want is a view. You have to drive from your room to the hotel to eat, swim, go to the beach etc. They initially gave us a room in blding 6 and there was no bell man to be found, also no valet parking so we lugged our stuff to the room, called to change the room and lugged it all back to the parking lot.
The front desk staff was not real helpful, didn't explain we had to have vouchers for breakfast or that the tip was included. Maybe they were new but seemed use to having people request room changes. The second room we had literally had no patio space. Couldn't even put a chair outside. Found out certain rooms at the end of the building have this issue. We finally got a nice room in blding 4 where they were doing renovations but it also had its quirks. The clothes closet was in the bathroom and only held about 6 hangers. Maybe 2.5 ft. wide.
Pool staff was outstanding. Still have to vie for lounge chairs, there are never enough.
Another anoyance was the "glassware" in the rooms. Styrofoam for coffee cups, flimsy plastic glasses and no wine glasses. Motel 6 has better glassware in their rooms. Called room service to get wine glasses as it was a special occasion for us and we had brought a nice bottle of wine. Unfortunately room service is closed between 2 PM and 5:30 PM so I had to go to the bar and bribe the bartender to let us have 2 wine glasses.
Overall I would stay there again just be aware of where they try to put you when you check in.
