We had a wonderful stay! Such a lovely Inn and the Inn Keeper Marty (owner) is such a kind, warm, charming human being. The way he welcomed us...I truely felt like a guest in his home and left a family member. The rooms are wonderful, the garden was magnificent and the breakfast was charming. I can't wait until I return. I will tell EVERYONE who plans a trip to the city to stay here!

This is a wonderful place to stay while at San Francisco.
It's nice and cosy environment makes you feel so homely. The wide spread of breakfast is fantastic and I luv the quiche!
For single lady like me while on business trip, it is a place worthwhile to stay.:P

My mother and I loved our stay at the Inn. We arrived late at night and Marty waited up for us to help us park, show us around and make sure we felt at home. By chance, we were upgraded to the "cottage" which was enormous complete with a full kitchen and two bedrooms. It was such a treat! The whole place is beautiful and very clean. As other reviews have mentioned, there is always lots of fruit, coffee, and sodas available, which makes it really feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious with tons of fresh fruit and it is served from 7-11am. They also have a large selection of newspapers and magazines always available. Marty and Fred were extremely helpful and friendly. We were sorry to have so much to do in San Francisco that we couldn't spend more time relaxing around the lovely gardens. We are looking forward to returning soon.

My family stayed on the last visit and we stay when remodeling our home. Marty is gregarious and fabulous! The Inn is a beautiful Victorian retreat!! We look forward to opportunities to return!
