well for starters they don't call it the big easy for nothing. Everyone is laid back and easy going. Everyone is just out to have a good time. the parades are beatiful with thier vibrant colors. the music is some of the best. And the food was to die for i almost didn't want to leave. where we stayed was a small inn and the staff treated us very kindly i would definatly consider a trio to new orleans during mardi gras again. heck i would go back anytime. i would recomend it to any one looking for an exciting vacation. but like any other city you have to be careful and aware of what is going on around you
