“Loved the charm!”

If you like historic hotels, this is place to be. The grandeur of the place wows most people. We even considered this place for our wedding! My only complaint about the rooms is that some may need to be updated.

Not only is the place gorgeous, but service is impeccable. The staff is friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Out of 4 stays, we may have had a problem *once* with a slightly slooow valet. Warning: If this is your first time visiting NOLA, be prepared to pay $25-30 a night for parking at any hotel.

Le Pav is a few blocks from the Quarter, but is worth the walk or cab ride -- highly recommended on a hot New Orleans summer day!

“Five Star Service”

Le Pavillon Hotel

5 of 5 stars
Pennsylvania
Jun 6, 2008

This was the second time I stayed at Le Pavillon, this time I was joined by my husband and infant daughter. The hotel's staff goes well beyond expectations to provide a luxurious stay. During breakfast in the Crystal Room, the waitstaff would recall our drink preferences and bring us everything right away. The entire staff was helpful with my baby, and they were so warm that it felt like we were a part of their extended family.

Our rooms were immaculate, and we enjoyed the nightly turndown service where they left cookies and bottled water for us. At 10 pm, the hotel also served complimentary pb&j sandwiches and hot chocolate in the opulent lobby.

The concierge helped us arrange tours and expertly answered our questions. The valet, meanwhile, assisted me in taking my baby out of the rental car and cabs (when I didn't feel like taking the rental car).

I would not dream of staying anywhere else in NOLA. Le Pavillon offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

“Le Pavillon in New Orleans is my favorite!”

Le Pavillon Hotel

5 of 5 stars
Chicago, Illinois
Jun 1, 2008

It's been quite some time since I've stayed here but it's definitely left a lasting impression. For 3 years in a row, I would travel down to New Orleans for Halloween and on this year I chose to stay at Le Pavillon. Previously I'd stayed at The Hotel Intercontinental and The Westin. Nice places but my experience at Le Pavillon far surpassed them!

I took two of my friends with me as a gift to them and they were really happy at the hotel choice! We spent a lot of time up on the roof where the pool and whirl pool were ordering drinks and just enjoying ourselves. It was like being at a resort!

Their fitness center was very adequate and helped me sweat out my hangover on one morning!

The room, hotel decor, and staff were superior.

I'm going back to New Orleans this year after few years and I will certainly be staying at Le Pavillon.

I'll be the one in the whirl pool with a beer in my hand.

“Le Pavillon- Greatest Hotel I've ever been to!”

Le Pavillon Hotel

4 of 5 stars
Charleston
May 30, 2008

My stay at Le Pavillon was wonderful, it was a beautiful hotel and the staff was really great. The peanut butter and jelly and hot cocoa at 10:00 was a nice touch too. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the places I wanted to go and within walking distance of trolleys that could take me to the places I couldn't walk to. When I wanted to rest for awhile the roof top pool was convienently located near by. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you've never stayed in a historic hotel.

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — I loved the way the hotel look and the roof top pool view.
    • Disliked — That the peanut butter and jelly wasn't served for a longer amount of time.

“Great place to stay in the Big Easy”

Le Pavillon Hotel

5 of 5 stars

The Le Pavillon Hotel is very impressive place to stay in New Orleans. Its close enough to the Quarter to be a lot of fun but far away enough to avoid a lot of the undesirables. The location is in the heart of the business district/downtown. The decor is classy and the staff are really helpful.
The best bonus: PB&J's and milk at ten o'clock every night. Now how great is that!
