“Excellent and Very Comfortable”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

I used to stay at The W hotel in Seattle but now stay at this Hyatt. Beautiful rooms, great decor, some sides of the building do have a water view, great location, easy to walk down to the Pike Market, excellent shopping and sightseeing.

My only compliant was the Asian gentleman working the front desk who refused to print my boarding passes after the printer on the self serve Boarding Pass Kiosk failed, I politely asked the other Gentleman working at the front desk and he immediately printed the boarding passes for us.

Excellent Property for Business or Tourist

“Location OK, but darker than Darth Vader”

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt and was struck by how dark and dingy this supposedly four-star hotel is. The Starbucks in the lobby was probably one of the least inviting spots in this mecca for coffee. The staff was friendly but there is no view, difficult and expensive parking and difficult access unless you're a cabbie and know the city. There's no pool, and ugly architecture. Seattle Hyatt ain't so Grand.

“Great room and great location”

Grand Hyatt Seattle

We stayed here for a romantic getaway during the Easter weekend. I really enjoyed my stay here. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and well furnished. Our bathroom was extremely large and contained both a bathtub and a shower stall. The fitness room was top of the line. The hotel is very close to the Pike Place Market and only a short monorail ride from Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Our bed was very comfortable and we are even considering buying one from their catalogue. I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveller since I can't see anybody being disappointed in any way.

“Fabulous!!”

We're locals, and booked an event in the Onyx Room. The location of the hotel is ideal, and the hotel itself and room were great, but we knew all this coming in. What pushes this from a "good" to "excellent" rating was the staff/service. Everyone we dealt w/ was friendly, helpful, and had a sense of humor. If we ever get to plan another event or just want to spend the night someplace where we treated like royalty, this hotel is the top of our list.

Like another person who wrote in we were charged a $50.00 cancellation fee to cancel our reservation. Our cancellation was made three weeks in advance of the stay.
